Is swinging a mirror image of normal life?

Normally a husband would be more upset with a wife if she slept with someone than kissing. But often when swinging, it's ok for a guy to fuck the wife (any hole sometimes) but they must not kiss.

Is it just me or is that a little strange?

I don't find it strange, it is about individual intimacy.

Some women feel kissing (full on mouth to mouth) during sex is very intimate, some think sex without kissing is cold.

Each to their own, as long as you respect their boundaries, have fun. If you cant respect the boundaries walk away, but do so in a calm polite manner

It has only been recently that we have removed our no kissing rule. It was my hang up not his. I never found the idea of kissing another man wrong, but I didn't like the thought of my husband kissing another woman. Kissing for me at the time was the MOST intimate act, not physically, but emotionally intimate. But having a couple of meets at the end of last year where I really struggled no to kiss the man, we...well I thought it over and decided to give it a try. I how have no problem with it at all. I just needed to get it straight in my head is all.

I can't play to full capacity without kissing we have tried it once when we met couples.....to have sex without it just does'nt compute in my head at all and ruins the natural flow and enjoyment for me

I understand there is the emotional element, but if I want to get completely carried away I personally need to kiss.

Has it improve the experience for you, now kissing?

Yes it has, I no longer feel restrained, I can relax and enjoy myself more.

Kissing is something I very much miss if it does not happen.

Nothing like starting off with a good kiss and letting things descend into depravity from there.

being in an open, honest relationship doesn't happen overnight you know, it's a gradual learning experience.

couples can be fickle and rightly so as they have a whole other person, and their ever changing feelings to consider, they know their relationship better than us therefore we have no right to judge, but in answer to your question...."Is swinging a mirror image of normal life?"

I would say HELL YEAH!!

This site is a prime example...people can be who they WANT to be on here rather than the person everyone else thinks they should be!

No, not strange. Some people need to maintain something special which they don't share with casual playmates.
