When I started swinging I agreed to a spontaneous meet with a man who lived close. I said "I will meet you in 20 minutes". He replied "why not now". I said "I want to have a shower and put on clean underwear first. Don't you" ? He said "no" so I cancelled the meet.

Perfectly understandable why you cancelled,eeewww not having a shower before he wanted to meet you

Our first meet was a spontaneous one. Even tho we loved it and have no regrets whatsoever we now find we prefer to meet in clubs

I've had similar, got to a meet. Lady was wearing a grey food stained tracksuit. I made my excuses and left. Prefer meeting at my local club these days. People usually make an effort when visiting clubs.

We’ve gone to mostly spontaneous now as have too many let downs when planning. Do get them with spontaneous though but don’t feel as letdown as not been all the build up

They can be a lot of fun as you know very little about them so you go with gut feelings. Only had one who look nothing like his pictures and made out he had a 10in lol was half that size . X

Its not something weve tried, but I always imagine it similar to meeting in a club.

They aren’t “dying” but they’re definitely harder to arrange since working from home went mainstream. Less people travelling away in hotels, fewer people with alone time at home etc

They wouldn't be for me and never have been. However, I can see why those who've been let down several times or have little time may consider them.

I don't think they're favoured by the majority of people Tbf though.

We've been known to do spontaneous meets if travelling/on holiday, but vanilla life makes it hard at home.

But can be a lot of fun compared to endless requests for socials "to see if there's a mutual connection".
