A Single Swinger. We've decided to add a new date to our monthly diary, aimed just at single swingers, to try to assist them in finding regular playmates and fuck buddies, in the safety of a club environment. We know that the lads massively outweigh the gals, but thought it would be an interesting experiment to see who we could find. Might even try some speed dating ideas as well just to make it really fun. Let us know if you have any ideas for the night. Adding a thread on the Meets Forum for name adding...please don't ask to come along here, this is just for ideas.

I think it's a great idea. Something I've seen at, well might have just been gay nightclubs, is a 'shag tag' system (maybe needs another name lol) where everyone has a badge with a number or word or other unique reference on it and somewhere in the club is a board where, if someone likes the look of someone but is too shy to say, they can note it, like 'banana22 wants to buy chicken27 a drink/lick her senseless/fuck her rotten' etc.

If chicken27 sees this and likes the look of banana22 when she spots the tag, well it's a bit of an ice breaker.

Not quite the same as a face to face meeting in a safe environment. Blank pictures and over enthusiastic profiles can create high expectations which reality fails to deliver!

We had shag tags at clubs when I was at uni, another one is a traffic light party where a red badge means "not playing", amber means "maybe/playing hard to get" and green means "a big ol' yes, come and get me"

Not everyone reads the forums tho, I've tried this myself.

I think a swingle night is great & it's always better to meet in person. If I get my car back, I'll certainly be up for attending.

We're keeping it open to couples but on the basis that they'd be happy to play alone. No point in offering it to those who want to play together as they have other nights to attend. So its single guys and gals, the trick is going to be getting a balance, or if we can't do that, then run something like speed dating, where the gals get to meet 10 guys in an hour say for a fast chat round....that way it doesn't need the numbers to be equal.

I don't want a regular fb, and couples complain when single fems 'couple up' with a fwb/fb. So I'm guessing this is aimed mostly at single men.

Say you do 2 of these nights and 20 single females turn up, 10 of them 'couple up' at the first event, where is the supply of single females going to come from for the second/subsequent event(s)?

I know I am probably nit picking but given how the number of single women attending clubs is already low, 'coupling them up' seems an unusual idea

Should you run a singles only night, then let me know, as I used to attend a singles only party and that was good fun

Having a 'swingle' night but inviting couples seems a bit self defeating to me. Couples already have a partner, and as single men tend to prefer them it will just leave most of the single women wondering why they bothered.

Yea, we've had a few comments about the couples bit, so maybe that's not such a good idea, however the point re coupling up singles isn't the aim. Its to help them find a play partner for that night, or maybe a future meet, but not a permanent partner. Most singles we know who swing, certainly aren't looking for that.

Would happily agree with the couples bit, but if the speed dating only allowed questions like "What's a fantasy for a one night stand" rather than "What would you consider to be the perfect family size" would that help?

I'm not sure why swingles need a special night to find regular FB's.

I'm sure it might sound attractive to pull some more ladies in and of course the thought of more ladies in pulls more blokes in....... but how soon will the novelty wear off if the women (or men) don't want to play because they went there to find something else.

I'd think this sort of thing would be better set in a purely social environment.... but that's just my opinion.

the thing that would put me off is that the assumption is that swingles would only want to play with other swingles... with the idea of coupling up...

for a lot of people that couldn't be further from the truth....

I tend to agree with polo that it may have been better in a non-play enviroment, and how you are going to gerrymander the numbers... but i wish you well...

There is no assumption here, we have our Friday nights where singles can meet couples if they wish to attend that one instead. This is about a preference, to attend when there are only other singles present...and I'm not sure the idea is to get them to couple up either, that kind of blows the longevity of it all. Its for singles to have fun with singles, and leave as singles at a guess.

Format still emerging though!

See I don't go to clubs on couples nights, and it would offset the numbers with all the extra men hanging around to 'watch' that alone would put me off.

Singles can meet with couples any time. Singles for singles parties are rare... if the club is looking to increase single numbers, then singles for singles is a great idea

That's it exactly. The first time I went to Chams I went with a male friend and was beating them off with a stick. The other two times I went alone and really struggled to get people to chat to me. I remember arranging to hook up with a guy in the orgy room and he just didn't turn up. I don't know why all it takes is a male friend to attract other men but for me that seems to be the case.

Speed dating isn't even on the agenda (yet), it was just one of the things mentioned earlier in the thread. It may be introduced at a later date, but even then, that doesn't mean you have to do it if you don't want to, it's just a bit of fun that may or may not be added if the evening takes off on a regular basis.

Don't forget one of the main rules of swinging, NO means NO, that goes for taking part in speed dating as well

If we did run the speed dating idea, the questions would be things like "whats your favourite place to shag" and deffo not "how many children would you like" lol. Anyway, idea to start will be to build up a regular night, then we can start to try the daft stuff once everyone is comfortable. So, list still building on the meets forum, anyone else wish to add themselves. Interestingly there's more ladies than gents currently!
