Hi fabbers. I wanted to crowdsource your help please.

What are some good hotels in Central Manchester and Zone 1-2 London that have key-free access to the lifts and corridors?

I have guests planning to visit and I’d like them to be able to arrive discreetly.

I’m hoping a few of you out there have some good tips.

The Crowne Plaza London - Kings Cross allowed you to get to the rooms without a key last year.

Manchester - the Britannia, but the hotel is a bit crabby. If your budget allows, look at Motel One Piccadilly station

Motel one near aldgate used to be card free at least, and the corner near aldgate east is decent with very little staff - cards needed for lift but there are ground floor rooms

Motel one... Used that a few times in Manchester... Can use the lift card free and the reception lot seem to be chilled with people in and out as "guest"

We walked in together at the one by Piccadilly and they assumed we were all together.

Norwich ish

YHAs are normally pretty good. Will just be a key code access to door that you can share.

Beds give interesting possibilities too. 🤣
