Is distance a thing for you?

Do you prefer to keep it local, far away or not bothered?

Downham Market

We have to keep things localish - Char has long term health issues from cancer treatment and occasionally has a really bad day and *may* need to cancel with an hour's notice. We'd feel awful if someone was three hours into a four hour trip and then got a message that we couldn't do it.

Similarly Char doesn't travel well so we keep everything within an hour where we can.

Still get no end of guys saying they don't mind travelling 300 miles, which we find is a bit weird....have they really exhausted all the more local options?

I met my gf here. She lives in Barnsley I’m in Manchester. It’s not close but if the person is right for you then it’s worth the effort of travelling.

Depends, 50ish miles is not a problem, we've done that. Anything further 100 or so we'd look at staying in a hotel for a couple of days

When I'm meeting, it's locals only for me. I wouldn't travel too far for a first meet and have a social only meet first anyway.

If someone's too far, it can be long way to go for a drink and chat.

I really would doubt if they are genuine when saying they will travel 300miles

Not too bothered about distance, not sure why others are either to be honest. If we are happy to come to you why does it matter how far weve travelled. Of course we are adults and never assume play on any meets regardless how far we travel.

We dont mind a 2 hour drive max to a meet or social.

I think its because not all are like you sadly..

I had men say they'd travel to me years ago, but they kind of always implied it should be worth their time etc.

I'd feel too under pressure if someone travelled a long way to meet me.

A woman should never feel pressured into doing anything, we always make it clear that play is never assumed even if its been spoken about x
