OP you're just going to alienate the very people you're trying to attract using terminology like that. I know you meant it with good intentions and no malice but maybe think about a different choice of words. Good luck.

Well it kinda is if it alienates those you are trying to attract

Talking of hissy fits, people having problems, haha etc also demonstrate a lack of either maturity or an an acceptance to recognise you could have worded your thread wrongly.

Taking it on the chin and apologising if you had upset anyone may have shown you in a better light.

I find the fact you think my post was a 'hissy fit' is quite amusing. If that had been the intention it would not of been worded as it was.

I would happily rewrite it to be more 'hissy' if you would prefer but due to my advancing old age I can't be arsed

Age doesnt bother me - its just a number but if you are looking for older or older older women, better not to word it that way. Dont think guys would like to be referred to in that way?

I didn't mean it as you was having a hissy fit I just wrote it on the back of what other people said, nobody had a hissy fit I was just making sure people understood that by mean saying older older their was no harm in it? Plus on the gender of saying I'm sorry for wording things wrong wont happen, I'm not the type to suck up hoping people will like me, I love the attitude of take me or leave me

I'm 56 and haven't taken offence when I was your age I thought people my age had one foot in the grave because I was fairly immature compared to now and had limited life experience, just two of the reasons I tend to avoid younger men.

There are women who like very young men so I wish you luck.

With respect Jordan you have no idea how you will feel when you're older. Being young isn't a crime you have a right to express your opinion and I think you're stating your case well but by now you must realise that women don't appreciate being defined by age.

I totally agree. At 51, it's no revelation to be that I'm cracking on a bit (hell I have the grey hair - under the dye - and laughter lines to prove it) so why should I be offended?

To a guy in his 20s, a woman of 30 would be older. So it stands to reason that a woman in her 50s would be 'older older'. It's all relative isn't it? There are some on here referring to the OP as a 'whippersnapper' yet to an 18 year old he'd be 'older'.

There's really no need for the nasty responses. and I'm baffled at people who are finding it offensive. They must be hyper sensitive.

Good luck in your quest OP

Expand the phrase "I just think..."

I (only) just (manage to) think.....

Is this some new sort of masochism..?

As in - sticking your head above the parapet to see how often it gets shot at...?

Maybe - I mean, just maybe, you could ask if your assumptions are right or not, and take an active interest in the answers....

But do keep going, this is such fun!!!

See now I had sympathy for you and was sticking up for you then you post a phrase like this "I just think you women want to be young again" that is patronising, lumping all women together and just plain rude and I would think the same if you were 19 or 90.

Such an entertaining thread with many good points ... It does highlight this extraordinary obsession some people have with age I love the profiles that are so specific in age range ... 25-37 ffs who can really tell if your 36, 37 , or 40 and is it so important .... Having said that Id gladly be any of thoses ages again ;+)

No wonder us older ones get turned off by the younger ones with an attitude like that

Some like it, some don't, it's life and just because you have a different opinion on 1 thing it don't mean you won't have other things in common with that person...

Yes maybe but then overall, I have no interest in your age group

Therefore maybe your missing out and maybe your not, everybody takes their own path in life and whatever their outcome as long as their happy within theirself then theirs nothing to worry about x

Not missing out; I did once meet a 25 yr old but felt incredibly uncomfortable sat with someone half my age so wouldn't take it further, just really doesn't feel right at all"

In my head I'm still in my 20's.

When someone sends me a message saying 'I like older women' I respond by saying 'best you go find one then'

Think through the things that may be sensitive... 'older', 'larger', etc. cause you can be damn sure no-one who gives me an opening line like 'I'm looking for Mrs Robinson' is ever gonna get a favourable response.

And using the same word twice at women from 45, you're on a hiding to nothing.

"I'm 52 and a world away from the 45 year old I was and no doubt the 65 year old I'm going to be. "

Couldn't agree more! Until the age of 45 I'd only had one sexual partner, my husband and I thought oral sex dirty. My mindset on things like religion, politics, sexuality were also rigid.

In seven short years I've turned into the antithesis of everything I was. Roll on the next seven!

Even 65 isn't old now...

Why call ladies above a certain age 'old' when you could just keep it factual and say you like women double your age rather than making them feel like they should be down the Post Office picking up their pension already?!

To be fair to the OP he didn't call us old, he said 'older' - there is a difference! At 48 I'm 'older' than him but I don't class myself as old! I'm also a 'larger' lady but would take offence is someone was to call me fat!

oops there was a post something like this a while back , a young guy calling us sexually experienced peeps old and he got hammered too, seems you young chaps don't have any decorum on here, and your not goin to get much experience of us older older peeps like that, if you want an experienced lady you have to work harder than that, little girls giggle when you mention cocks, mature ladys eyes light up and expect you to prove it

Im sorry i was laughing through this whole thread. I agree that your choice of words wasn't great. Its not like older women dont know that they are twice your age it's just the connotation and tone that comes accross when you write "older older" to describe your preference. Its like if a guy writes "all fattys contact me i love to grab your rolls"....yeah doesn't make me feel very sexy lol.

Yes they may get the chance to fuck a mature woman on X Hamster.

But how many make a decent job of it, many young guys on there can't seem to rise to the occasion when faced with the reality of a sexy mature woman.

Hell, when I was in my late teens or early twenties, given such a chance, you wouldn't have been able to get a sheet of tissue between my cock and my belly. R

Nothing wrong with a mature woman, the sexual confidence is wonderful and liberating, although there are also ladies of a younger age that also have peace with their sexuality and thier inner self. I prefer to take people on an individual basis.

Have you ever met a lady, with looks that you would not normally go for and you ust think WOW!? The sexual chemistry hits and you are in lust and awe? this is why I take every lady for thier self being and whom they, not just looks, body type or age.

I think it is clear that the op did not deliberately set out to offend anyone. He needs, however, to re-think how he addresses women.

This is, perhaps, an important lesson learned.

Good luck to him in finding what he wants.

Actually, I have always been far more attracted to women older than myself. Typically they are sexually more attractive, more independent, and more accomplished lovers than their younger counterparts. When I was 35, I was madly in love with a 62 year old woman in Chicago ... who was the most beautiful woman even to this day that I've ever been with in my life. We were lovers, day and night, for just under two years. So, go for it. And good luck to you.
