How many times do I have to read this in a message from someone who clearly hasn't read a fecking word??!!

It's Thursday, I'm ranting....

My profile CLEARLY states (if actually read) that I am in no way interested in men in their 40s and 50s, no ifs or buts, no matter how lovely, fit, attractive or young they look or feel. I just don't find men that much older than me attractive.

So WHY is it always the men in their 50s who insist they have read my profile in their messages??!!

What is the point in reading it just to ignore it???!!!!!

(btw, I have nothing against older men...just don't want to fuck any)

You can change your message filters ao that age group cant message you.

my age range goes up to 50, for women, so that would only filter out the men over 50....it's something I have to put up with, not the end of the world, just needed to vent and have a little rant

Its not just women that get it. I can't count how many times I have been propasitioned by guys even though it says I am straight.

well wehn i asked a guy which part of my proifle he found interesting (cos my written part is all about me not meeting)

he copied and pasted the interests lol

Why not delete all the options from your 'looking for' list. You won't show up on any searches so you can go look for suitable people in peace.

I do this and have found it more affective than filters

But yes there has been an increase in odd messages, that 'love my profile', but when I look at their profile, not only is it different to what they say in their own messages, it is then completely incompatible with what I'm looking for The joys of variety online

I get men from all over the place messaging me wanting meets, even though I only do local meets. Some just don't read, some are chancers.

Yep its a downside to this site, but on the up.. I've found since I've put my filters on lockdown I've cut out 60% of unwanted mail...

Then it would help if you change your age range in your profile as its states you will meet 21 to 50 years

yes it does, because I meet women 21-50, men 21-39 as stated clearly within the profile text!

We get the following:

"We know your not meeting single men but can I change your mind"

We are not that bothered as long as they are polite some get the hump after rejection then the block stick comes out. We don't use the filters as some can be quite funny and you never know if anyone will catch our eye.
