I wonder if this is a cultural thing? Most men aren't circumcised in the UK, so uncut is the aesthetic norm, whereas in the States circumcision is normal and a lot of women seem to view the foreskin as 'dirty', and not in the fun way. Remove that stigma and it becomes something else to play with.
