It seems to me that women on here and other social sites are just drowning in compliments all the time, so many men pouring endless praise (which is good if you have a praise kink) often over the top and insincere.

Meanwhile.

In the real world men are less and less likely to compliment a woman and I feel there is a drought of genuine compliments between the sexes.

In the last year or so I have almost totally stopped complimenting women online (unless I actually know them in person, it is an exceptional case where I am like "Wow". I think in most cases hitting that little heart is enough.

In real life I give compliments, they seem to be appreciated more, especially when the woman knows I am being genuine and not necessarily flirting. I am a man who appreciates nice well polished nails, or beautiful hair and various pieces of clothing. These are things I compliment.

What do you all think, are women bored/fed up with the endless compliments and praise they get from men online?

Do they appreciate a real world compliment from a man better?

I won't change my ways based on replies (if any) just thinking out loud (in Fabland)
