All depends what level and standard you are referring to?? Administering or receiving??

There are plenty of websites with Forums/members which will also point you in the direction of schooling in the arts of BDSM.

It's amazing as it adds a whole new dimension to the lifestyle but whatever you do don't rush in to anything.. tread carefully!!

ok Cinders, when your having your balls slapped or whipped and then after you start yelping you have your cock stroked nearly bringing you to orgasm and then if the person doing the spanking knows the signs and stops you from orgasming and spanks your balls again its mindblowing when you do come

"can anyone explain the fascination of bdsm?..I just don't get the pain part to it all, how can u get pleasure from pain?.."

Without going in to too much detail.. There's a major psychological influence involved in the world of BDSM, you either have it mentally or you don't!!

The controlling and assertive mind of the Dom coupled with the sub mind. There is often a power exchange though where infact the sub is in control as it's the sub who sets the limits of how far boundaries can be pushed..

We all have differing sexual arousal levels and the brain is a key element of this. With some people different levels of pain increases their sexual arousal levels to new highs that simply cannot be achieved during what is considered normal sexual play..

I don't persue my Dom side these days compared to years ago but when I do the mental satisfaction of being in control and indulging others in there submissive roles fules my own sexual appetite & arousal levels to an amazing high even though in some cases no penetrative has taken place..

It's a strange world but oh so enjoyable!! Variety

We like it lots but it's about trust we hear to many stories of wannabe doms abusing girls and going way beyond agreed limits.

So tread with care and research the person who you are going to play with. Then enjoy the experience

For the one receiving the pain there is a release of endorphins which heightens the sexual pleasure.

It's a big part of my life sexually and to be fair a huge part of my life full stop.

It's a common misconception that it's about getting pain.. your dynamic may include that but it's so much more. It's been described very well in this thread already.

But the giving over of control to another is delightful for me... And the mental and physical and emotional stimulation is off the scale for me...

I have been into the lifestyle for 15 years now and I can most definately say its not in the least about pain for me. It is about mind control... Someone knowing me so well they know what buttons to press.. I have a natural desire to please and get my enjoyment from this. However im not submissive to just anyone it takes a special man/woman...

Ye I like most would not give control or let control be taken unless I can trust (her)but trust is everything to me so finding trust is the hard part ! I do have/had partners/friends with benefits but never felt like I would/could share my bdsm needs or desire . Did I say trust often

Same here. Someone said it earlier about how BDSM is a big field. If anything pain is a very small part of it, and not for everyone. For us, at it's core it's all about the sub/dom interaction and dynamic.

We play games in daily life that are invisible to onlookers, even a subtle word, or conceding a decision for example, can be extremely horny. Pain rarely comes into it.

It isn't going to come looking for you though... What is stopping you from getting involved in your local scene? Just find your local munch.
