"vim was replaced by CIF by unilever...well was here in the UK leastways"

I think that was Jif. Vim was white scouring powder sold in cardboard tubes with metal rims at the top and bottom. It didn't half used to get the bath clean

It was jif/cif. Vim is just vim. Scouring powder like in the good old days and the cream like jif in a bottle. I used to work for them, and had loads of faulty bottles of it. Nothing cleans like it lol

and if it wasn't rinsed properly you could feel it on your bum when you sat in the bath
