Would a holiday cottage be suitable, I can't recommend any in your area but we have stayed in some very secluded ones where the things your friend would like would be possible.

Years ago BC, (before computers), we belonged to the Birmingham Forum Sociaty, and one week we booked a holiday cottage down in deepest Devon, we put an open invite to all forum members to come down for the weekend, nearly 50 people, arrived, what a weekend that was!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
