I've found the moon cups leak and are fiddly to fit.. I like the soft tampons.... used them recently and honestly you couldn't tell... However I've not found them in any shops and have had to order them offline.

Yes, I'm on my third. Not only has it never stopped my periods, but it is also not regulating them now I have started my menopause. And when I asked my doctor, she stated that Mirena is not always a foolproof method of regulating periods.

I had a mirena for 4 years but had it removed in march as the dr thought it wasn't helping any of my other problems with my pcos and endrometrosis.....when it was in, I very rarely bled which was a godsend really now I'm back to flooding.

I had fibroids which caused horrendous periods. GP recommended mirena but I was skeptical as I'd heard such terrible things. I was also on the cusp of menopause. However, I have to say that it really has worked for me. Very light when I do bleed and that only every few months. And hardly any pain when before it could have me doubled up.
