How do you deal with them?

Single men we block.but if local have a look to see if we know them, then block.

Site support couples we see how hot they are then wink.

Non site supporters we look at their private pics then delete them.

Edinburgh

I delete them. If someone wants to be my friend they should come talk to me. It's not difficult. I don't bite.

I delete the requests from the people who don't bother to talk to me. I don't feel bad about it, if they'd bothered to read my profile they'd know in advance what happens.

Ditto - then they can't send any more requests.

My friend request list must be longer than my block list by now!

It's a difficult one as some people don't mind getting them, some people like getting them and some people hate getting them! I'd say that unless you're overwhelmed with them don't worry about if, it's not like they've turned up at your front door asking to be friends

This.

It stops them from sending them over and over.

OP the bit in your profile that says you don't want friend requests needs to be clearer. Assume a reading age of 8 and go from there. On first reading it does seem like you want invites so you can look at their pictures and then decide whether you want to delete them.

delete same as winks, i see no point!

some peeps add friends just to see private pics, some accept friend invites from anyone at all..which to me is them feeling popular!!

i only have 5 friends on my list of whom i have met and speak to regular.

if peeps want friends they dont know or chat too they should stick to crappy facebook

I accept friends requests from people I've actually met in person.

The rest, I delete, except for those who I chat regularly in Fab Chat - there is a realistic prospect that we might become friends at some point in the future, so I hang on to them.

I can be overwhelmed by it. I get at least 3 or 4 a day - often a lot more. But it doesn't bother me. They are easy to ignore.

I don't see where anyone is saying one particular way is wrong. Unless I missed it.

Didn't really look at that - but it's just an opinion. Some people come on here to make friends too.

Kent

I have on my friends list people I have met for play, socially at parties and people who for various reasons I have chatted to extensively on here. As well as a few I'd like to meet in the future. About 20 in total.

I have my face pics in my friends only gallery so keep my friends list minimal, if I wanted every Tom dick and Harry to see them I'd put them public lol x

gloucester

We have enough filters inplace to ensure that no one can either see, message or wink us as we find it free's up more time for posting about the lack of meets we've had

Ignore then a bulk delete. Don't understand the mentality behind it? Why bother if you have not spoken a nice polite message first is much better.

Our friend pics are hot but more of the same that you can find round here

I think my current friend list is around 7 or 8. I tend only to friend people I have met.

"I love the advice that's based on this is the way I do it and all other ways are clearly wrong! "

The OP asked how other people deal with unwanted friends requests. We have told them how we deal with them. No-one has said that any other way is wrong!
