Nec hotels

Anyone know which hotels at the Nec have easy access for meets ? Like no key card for lift or security/reception not letting anyone in after late ?

I had a meet with a couple staying in a hotel at Birmingham airport. As soon as I got there there were signs everywhere saying hotel guests only. I ended up parking a mile away and walking in. The couple were going mad saying I was messing them about and I wasn’t coming. Finaly got to them all flustered and sweating.

Which hotel? Did you need key card for lift or security? Any issues at reception?
