York Puby pub recommendations

High Lighthouse

On route to York for a long weekend and we are in need of some good pub recommendations. Needs to have selection of real ales and a good cider or two. Love a venue that’s steeped in history and somewhere you can chat with the bar staff.

Suggestions please….go go go
