We have had two guys try out almost the same story in the last week. "A friend who has verified you and I are holding a big meet in a big secluded house out in the country. Would you be interested in coming?"

You only have to scrape the surface to find it is a con trick to try and get your mobile number and access to your friends Photos and God knows what else.

Has anyone else been getting these try-on chancers?

Our verifications aren't published so they couldn't. Their story seems highly implausible from the off and we keep a fuck phone so in the unlikely event we gave a random our number it wouldn't really matter.

I wonder just how safe fab security is with all the recent hacking in the news. It would be small fry by comparison but we should all give a little thought to what personal info we share.

^^ we just use one of our really old ones a put a PAYG SIM in it. We hardly ever give our number but if we did and someone became a nuisance it's easy enough to get a new SIM

We had one guy who tried this. Funnily enough we was with the person they claimed to know at the time.
