Any other single parents find it hard too meet??

It's normally rushed daytime meets, or after bedtime meets with the volume turned down 🤣🤣

Personally I only do daytime meets when children not around. I wouldn’t be able to relax and enjoy properly otherwise!!! I make it clear on my profile too and don’t appreciate the “ I’ll come round after they’re in bed” messages. Instant block!!

Its not easy, thats for sure. I resorted to things I would never do now 🤦‍♀️ My kids are older now & can be left alone. Back then they werent old enough.

Lord...the things I did for the ride!😅😅🤦‍♀️

Not a single parent but a single semi carer. It is problematic and usually means it has to wait until I'm away on business or my dad's buggered off on an assisted holiday somewhere, then I can visit clubs without the third degree. October can't come soon enough - thought I'd try temptations in Bournemouth

I only do daytime meets now because I was fed up with arranging childcare in evenings only to be let down by the person I was planning to meet! It isn’t worth the hassle at all.

I’m a single parent. Day time meets between school run or I guess I’m lucky have a older child who will look after the young one(11 year old) so I can get out in the evening if a meet happens

Do we're a flexible time couple. We can do day or evenings, & we host, so maybe you think that'd get us more attention.

But it doesn't. Go figure.

Currently no meets at all due to circumstances.

When I am meeting it involves a lot of planning and organising, sometimes daytimes, sometimes evenings. I never have meets in my home, even if my kids aren't here.

I have been the sole parent for 12 years. At least as a single parent you can sometimes share the childcare.

Yep it's tough but makes it even more worth it, and, who doesn't love, a naughty rushed daytime meet especially when you are both parents and really need the release

Maybe we should get a single parent swingers group going.

I'll run the Dorset division one.

Been there done that for over 10 years. I basically put my life on hold due to hardly finding any time to date or meet anyone even for a social. It’s only been the last year or so that I’ve finally had time to myself now that they’ve left college and started work. Wouldn’t change a thing though.

I only do daytime meets. I have teenagers. Who are up later than me. So I don't wanna do that if they're home

mine are all grown now but when they were younger I had to do daytimes, or on rare occaisions when they stayed at their nans, apart from one or two regular girlfriends.

Mine is grown up but still lives with me so it isn't easy.

I never would have someone here whilst he was, that's not for me.

I tend to go to clubs it's easier for me now he is grown.

He does stop out here and there but still requires planning.

It’s almost impossible sometimes! My daughter only goes to her mums 2 nights a month at best so it can be really tricky. I work from home during the day so that gives some opportunity but hardly anyone else is free weekday daytimes 🤷🏻‍♂️😂

We need a group for all the single parents with childcare issues 😅

When my boys were younger my escape was a secret sick day in a day use hotel.

Sometimes that involved a friend and sometimes it was just me , snacks and a book. It was needed.

Accommodating anyone was never an option.

Now they are older its obviously much easier to go out but alone time in my own home is still practically no existent.

This sounds like a brilliant idea even if just "me time"
