Does swinging enhance a relationship or fill a void ?

If you have a long term partner and decide that you're both happy for each partner to have sex with others is this an indication of a higher love within the relationship or the warning signs that the relationship has lost a spark and it isn't what it was ?

How can you possibly answer that, there will be lots of reasons some people swing, some will be good reasons, some will be bad, there are lots of couples who swing because they think it will bring back a tired marrage, but some couples swing who have a perfectly happy marrage, its a how longs a piece of string qyuestion

I'm single now.. but when I swung within a couple it very much enhanced what we shared.. I find that without a partner that I don't get anywhere near as much as I used too.

Luckily I now have someone that I can go to places together. But it's still not the same as when you watch the man you love playing happily with other women, safe in the knowledge that your loving it as much as he is, and vice versa..

I wouldn't do it to fill a void in a relationship.. but I am using it right now to fill the void that I would have without my relationship.

Instead of sharing with a loved one, I just share with one or two very perverted friends. Still love meeting his eyes in a group and giving little looks though.

But I'll answer anyway

We have love, trust, a fantastic life together & we love each other until our life's die.

We do what we do because we enjoy it & we feel its just an extension of our already fantastic sex life together.

Everyone has their ideas, their fantasies etc etc, we are lucky because we talk about & discuss anything & we are open to trying things that spice it up even more.

No voids here, just randy gits

my hubbys 20 years older than me and has lost interest in sex since he was about 65, i think he got bored with me although he said he didnt, he decided i should see other men and i am happier, most of the time and he likes to see me happy as well. i keep asking him if he wants to meet other women, but he doesnt. i dont think i could go without sex now.

i always had a higher sex drive than him

apart from that we are very close.

I've never swung in a relationship... I had a vague attempt at doing the finding someone with a fuck buddy thing but it was more grief than it was worth... trying to find someone I want to fuck is hard enough without finding someone we both found attractive. I like pleasing myself (which is just as well really!) but I dare say it could enhance a relationship too. A solid one though.

It doesnt enhance our relationship, nor does it fill a void. What it does do is provide us with extra experiences and sensations that we can enjoy together as we both get as much enjoyment watching the other have a good time.
