I have noticed that the majority of people on here are shaven ( not that i mind either or ) but do you think that this is an indication of others who are not into swinging or is it the current trend within society to shave ??

I do not shave, I wax but I guess the result is almost the same! Not sure about society bu it certainly seems to be on here.

Read an article recently, it is a trend of society. The incidence of crabs has almost disappeared in Australia because of pubic shaving...

I had the same thought come into my head when I visited the doc recently ... She gave me a paper towel and said lay down this is to cover your pubes ! Made me smile !! As I shave.. wondered what the average middle aged woman does down there ! I look like a primary school teacher ! So she may have been a tad surprised ! Not a current trend. I was brought up in the Far East, and most teenage guys shaved, cock and balls. So, I have from the age of 13, and its natural for me, and not a fad/fashion/trend.

I shave, orginally on someones suggestion and kept it up because i prefer it. Can I ask where you get your Hollywood done and do they do females because the lady I use for my other waxing doesnt do it?

I agree with this. If you like shaving, waxing or whatever just do it, constant justification just makes me think you're not really sure why you're doing it.

i shaved from when i became hairy down there.Initially because of the gymnast suits and when i stopped that sport and started beeing sexual active:i just prefer shaven/waxed for myself and on other fems.Something my hubby is very happy about ....so nothing to do with society just myself.

If I'm competing, all hair below my neck goes. I find Immac works best for me, and the tan covers the smell. As far as pubes go, I feel a lot cleaner when they're gone.

Lots of people perceive a lack of pubic hair to be cleaner but do they by the same token assume a person with a bald head will be cleaner?

If you have access to a bath or shower and use it regularly you'll be clean whether you have hair or not.

I absolutely understand that anyone may have whatever amount of pubic hair they want but what I don't understand is why people are so hung up on it.

Holliwood waxing is what I get from my local beautician. If I shave I get in-growing hair!!! Just call a few salons and ask if they do it, but make sure they include the 'underneath' (bum area) as not all will and they charge extra which is wrong!

The only disadvantage is that the growth can take up to 4/5 weeks before it can be waxed again cleanly. I have started using Magic Powder in between!

i don't ever say it's cleaner-it just makes me feel cleaner...there's difference...

I'm not hung up on it but i won't suck a

i make the effort to shave my balls but they don't half look like a porcupine if you let them grow a bit,the top bit these days i keep well trimmed and it suits me but would only take a few extra mins to whizz the whole lot off again

Oh no! Got to be shaved! Iv shaved since i was 17 and it was nothing to do with fashion it was all about hygiene. Im very fussy when im washing down below and hair just gets in the way. Some of us like to buck the trend!!

Fact is, as someone pointed out recently on a similar thread, the hair is there for a reason - to keep genitalia clean and bacteria out!!!! Get so sick of hearing the references to cleanliness in relation to hairy bits - each to their own!!
