I recognised a guy on here I knew who owned a business I used to visit. I messaged him and it was one of the best things I ever did as it led to multiple mmf's and mmff's with him.

Avoid mentioning in real life.

If you’ve tried to contact them here with no response, best thing you can do is block them and try to forget all about them.

I know some would, but not sure many would appreciate a real life approach encroaching into the relative secrecy of Fab

Genrally we don't bring it up? Why would you? Just because your on the same site it's their personal business in what to some is a very private and secretive area of their life. We all have a responsibility to may this lifestyle feel as safe a possible for everyone. So why risk making anyone feel uncomfortable or less secure? Just leave them to it and leave them alone.

Not always the way. If you collide in person on the scene (say at a club or party) take it out their speed. If they desperately try to avoid contact leave them to it. If they seem happy to you you and say Hi, that's completely different.

But as a rule of thumb leave people to themselves on here if you know them only from outside of the scene.

And remember just because you know someone from outside the scene doesn't give you dibs or special access them inside to the scene. We've unfortunately come across this mentality before.

I recognised a local women from fab at her place of work. I just smiled as she was attractive, and carried on walking. Sending messages oh I saw you at so and so is just not right.

There's a couple down the street from me on here also, I don't fancy meeting so it's silence and block from me.

This has happened to me several times and I feel it's contextual. When I first joined I was messaged by a local guy who I knew anyway and had fanny flutters for, so that worked out well and still is!

Another guy locally who I'd spoke with in passing messaged me. That didn't end well for various reasons which I won't go into here.

Another is a neighbour I know, he messaged me and is actually a very nice person so no awkward vibes. I won't ever play with him but we do chat about being on the scene.

A few couples locally who I'm not interested in, so blocked.

And finally, my lovely sister and brother in law! They live miles away and we'll never cross swinging paths but share stories of our antics and experiences

My advice fwiw? Proceed with caution. Some people prefer to keep this aspect of their life private and there's always the risk of creeping someone out.
