I know what you are all going to say. Not her again going on about meets lol. Well, yes me again. I just want to know are there any genuine guys out there who definately want to meet and if they got to cancel have a sensible genuine reason, but who will also re-arrange at time of cancelling? Im not the only female out there who feels this way I know. Its not only single guys who get the problem, we do too. Oh and for those who dont know, Im married but playing without OH's knowledge.

It is annoying as because I only ever agree to meet when I know I'm free so don't cancel, even if that does limit availability sometimes

I always said I wouldnt meet married men as I felt it would complicate things more but I cant understand why it feels to me that single guys have complications of the same level. It would be nice to get a cancellation! I don't get stood up as much as when I first came on the site as I have sussed out that going quiet/ignoring texts is the latest way to say 'I'm not interested'. I don't why they don't just say 'I am sorry, I have changed my mind'.

I've been stood up twice in the last three weeks and it's really really annoying. At least the first one had the decency to let me know he was held up [when he was 10 minutes late]. The one last week didn't log on for three days but he's been on-line last two days and hasn't even bothered to make an excuse let alone apologise!

Single men complain but it's not easy being a single woman on here either!!

I think it's just a reflection that single guys have outside FAB lives too, family, work etc

Some people on here thing single guys just sit on their own in a dingy flat waiting for a meet on FAB to materialise!

I can't speak for other males but I work 6 x12hour shifts per week at the moment and at the drop of a hat new business had to be tendered for which had me travelling from Nottingham down to Billinghurst in the South of the country, I managed to arrange a meet in Enfield with a regular friend then drove all the way up to Chester but C & Myself were so tired we didn't go to the club as planned and made sure that anyone we said we might meet knew. But in the week I was asked to meet on both Thursday by a couple and Friday by a single woman near to where I live.... What I didn't do was say yes to them and hope for the best but will arrange to meet another time.

couldn't agree more, I speak to a few women on here and it baffles me some off the messages they get off men abusive when turned down for example, no wonder some single men struggle as more than likely all probably painted with same brush. Think I should try and arrange a meet myself that's if I ever can drag myself off forums lol

I can understand what you are saying about work hrs as I can be at work for 30+ hrs at a time. I have had to cancel a few meets due to work. I always try to rearrange. I've been lucky as have been on fabs over 2 yrs and never had a no show, but would be vexed if it happend and I didn't get a message to let me know.

I just state what my preferences are, I dont message guys or select them. I have adjusted my preferences quite a bit since I joined. Met some different types of men, bodyshape and personalities. Any suggestions as to what I might change and I will listen to them too.

I think this thread shows that finding a genuine and decent meet can be a struggle for any member of fab despite gender, sexual orientation or relationship status. I do think the longer you're on the site the wiser you get but there are always gonna be those who just don't have the backbone to admit they've changed their mind.

I've never cancelled a meet but I have turned them down or not been able to meet and people have asked for pics and then not been in contact afterwards (thank the gods for my leonine self-confidence misplaced as it might be) and I have been let down once but apart from those, I've met everyone I said I would.

If I'm available to meet I will but I am aware we are all adults with lives outside fab and kids and 'real life' etc can get in the way.

I've had a couple of cancellations (with flimsy excuses) and some cancellations with valid excuses (and I've had to cancel myself on occasion, life gets in the way even for singletons); it never does anything to my self-confidence, I tend to chalk it up to experience...not meaning to offend Scorpio, but if I found my self-esteem getting knocked by stuff like that, I'd probably take a break for a while

It's a faff trying to arrange a meet via the site! That feeling of being on a high because you have at last arranged a meet, then days of wondering if it will actually happen. Getting ready preening pampering making sure you look your best and then comes the big let down, the sorry can't make it, or the silence or the intended meet suddenly leaves the site and for us that gut renching feeling when we have been let down....again!!

After years of going through this over and over I plucked up the courage to visit a club and woohoo!! I've made more friends and had more sexy fun in the last 4 weeks than I've had via the site in months, I should have done it years ago!!!

I have to admit that not all my club visits have resulted in play, but I can honestly say I have enjoyed every visit and have come home with a smile rather than that gut renching feeling you get when a planned meet goes botty up.

Reading some of the posts above, I am beginning to think the same.

I assume that people get into this lifestyle because they want to have fun unlike what they are used to in a vanilla lifestyle, right? So I can't for the life of me understand why you would meet someone, then have the patience to drive around with them cos they didn't have the decency to treat you with respect and book a hotel or take you somewhere, then get in the back of the car and have a 5 min fuck! If women put up with this kind of behaviour, then seriously you need to work on your selection criteria.

I mean some of the stuff I have read on this topic has been really depressing.

But saying that, sometimes it's hard to see that coming but why, oh why don't you make your excuses and end the meet when it looks like its going the way of you being used.

No wonder women and couples on here rant and rave in their profiles, lol. Understand some of that now.

I mean we all have busy lives and sometimes that gets in the way of a meet.

I had a meet a few ago and found myself working until very late. Despite the fact that I had been telling her that I was definitely coming several times in the day, I couldn't make the meet and I felt so guilty. So I didn't text, write an email but actually called and explained and apologised and then arranged another meet then and there. We met last weekend and it was absolutely fantastic. Proof that not all men are timewasters and not all women will bite your head off if you CALL to explain yourself.

Some of these things can be avoided if you treat the other person with respect.

I do not meet often as sex is just another recreational activity that I enjoy from time to time when I feel like it.

I have had my fair share of "promise the earth then nothing a few days leading up to a meet".

I don't fret about it, as there is always something else that I can do, like having a well-earned rest.

Luckily, the bad eggs are far and between.

for having a rant after all this is what forums are about

the place to get things off your mind or chest lol

I have had 2 people cancel 1 was when the lady of a couple had her monthly happen 2 hours

before the meet she did ask if I still wanted to turn up & she would give me a blow job instead but I declined after all I think giving me a blow job is the last thing a lady would want to do when just coming on

the second was a couple that gave me their postcode arranged the meet I was chatting online while on my way to them

then when in their road they went off line & left the site

that was not nice

but I have never let anyone down

if you arrange a meet then turn up simple

I have only been on two weeks but had three meets so i dont think i,m doing too bad,But my first arranged meet was with a girl at a pub in bristol.

We said to meet outside,I was there 10 mins early as i like to be punctual and was waiting until 15 mins after our said time,so decided to message her on fab from my phone and she had blocked me.

I can laugh about it now but was going to cancel my membership as i was well and truley p off.

But i have met three lovely ladies since so glad i persevered
