We had a bizarre message a while ago someone convinced they knew who we were and again this morning someone else thinking we were their ex, neither felt like a conversation starter infact this morning the guy seemed annoyed

Is this a regular thing for people?

Several people have contacted me absolutely convinced I am one of either Parisa or Emily.

Neither are my name. They tend to get really angsty when I tell them I'm not who they think I am.

To be fair there are plenty on fab who don’t even know who they are themselves. Guys who set up couples profiles or women’s profiles sort of thing and even engage in messaging pretending to be who they’re not.

Had guy threaten me on here before convinced I’d been knocking his mrs off, obviously I hadn’t but he was adamant, said I know it’s you (said a name) I explained he was totally wrong, wouldn’t have it, just blocked him in the end… he wanted blood !!! Lol

I've had a few weird messages thinking I'm someone else.

Jackie from the arcade, a teacher who this man worked with and a bloke who was sure we went to school together, we didn't.

The strangest one I had was from a man miles away, who tried to say I was his wife.

I said I have one partner who is sat next to me & look at the distance I am from you in miles.

He wouldn't have it and I had to block him.

So yes it happens!

They probably know you're not who they *say* they think you are. It's a common tactic used to either get you in conversation or scare you.
