We’re a laid-back, open-minded couple (M+F) who’ve been in the lifestyle for a little while now, and we really enjoy meeting other genuine, down-to-earth couples. But we’ve noticed a recurring challenge that we’re wondering if others can relate to…

When browsing profiles, it’s often easy to find lots of lovely photos of the female partner – which is great – but more often than not, the male half is either missing entirely or there’s just one blurry or hidden-face pic. For us, physical attraction and personality both need to be mutual on all sides – and Steph (my wife) quite reasonably likes to know who she might be meeting and whether there’s that initial spark.

We’re all about everyone feeling comfortable, but it can make it hard to get excited about a potential meet when half the picture (literally!) is missing. Sometimes we find that when we do meet up, there’s just not quite the right chemistry between all four of us – which of course is part of the game, but we wonder if more open profiles could help filter things better before meeting.

Is this something other couples come across too? Do you also find it tricky to find that elusive four-way click? And do you think more balanced profiles with photos from both halves of the couple would help everyone make better connections?

Would love to hear others' thoughts or tips on how you approach this!

We are mainly looking for single men for mfm’s so the vast majority of our pics are of C. But agree, for a couples profile there should be at least a few of the male half, so we have some of D on ours as well. C’s pics are by far the most popular though

We just avoid them if they claim to want to meet other couples. It has been our experience that no or unclear photos of the guy mean that he isn't interested in joining in, just wants to watch or is not keen on the idea at all.

FAB is hard enough to determine if there’s a 4 way attraction but when there’s only a cock pic of a guy and then it’s like pulling teeth to get anything else then we’ve found there is little point.

Women always get more attention on here - so we have more pics of C than me, we play the numbers game so understand that others do too.

But there’s also enough of me on pics to show me off too. We don’t understand why couples only have pics of Mrs if they are both wanting to play as I don’t understand how they do play unless it’s solely in clubs.

We totally agree with you OP with only having pictures of the lady of a couple you are only attracting men. A lady of a couple obviously would like to see the man too. We agree with hiding face pictures until a connection is established then show face pictures. We don’t meet people without swapping face and body pictures.

OP, frankly it is starting to piss me off, understand couples who are only looking for another male to join in either a Mr doesn't play or it's all about the Mrs situation, in which case no issue.

But, if Mr is going to want to touch me, I feel I should have a some visibility of him too!!

I am not utterly superficial and a handsome face, good personality and social skills (a balance I guess) go a long way, but for fucks sake.

Though we're noticing an increase of 'single' female profiles with either zero mention of a male partner or bio reads Mrs plays 'alone' only for him to suddenly get mentioned a few days into a chat and generally after we've shared face pics, but unsurprisingly nothing previous of this mystery man who'd be involved! Disingenuous and I couldn't give a shit how hot she is, we remove pictures from messages and unfriend if it got that far 🤬🤷🙄

This + I enjoy taking pictures etc, Mr doesn't particularly and nobody really cares to see multiple pics of Mr's chest over and over or whatever. We send face pics and pics of both of us when we start talking to someone but for the public gallery there's just not much point and he's not overly fussed.

It's a bug bear of mine, I'm half a couple and we show plenty of my other half, as we're looking for partner swaps.

If only the lady meets, I get why a couple wouldn't show the man.

If they meet other couples /women they should have one or 2 of him, to at least show his body type.

We just use it as a good filter, we wouldn't contact anyone when there's only pics of her & if we get a message from such a profile, unless they attach pics of him, it's a delete.

In my experience, it usually takes ages to then get a pic of the man and often then there's been no attraction on my part.

I don't get why so many couples who want to meet other couples or ladies, reduce their own chances so much, by only showing one of them.

However , it's their profile, their choice.

Unfortunately the way Fab works is the needs of the profile owner are more important than your needs. There are many reasons people post the pictures they do and not all those reasons are obvious to the casual viewer.
