It shouldn't matter how long you spend in the play room. However, there are some clubs that do try to limit people's time in playrooms, so everyone has a chance to use them.

I have seen a timer (hourglass) in one room of my local club. As well as the notice in the room. Not sure if staff would knock on the door, maybe if someone brings it to staff's attention that the room has been in use for loads of time? It's probably happening more in smaller clubs, with not many playrooms?
