Hi everyone.

This is for the people who meet in hotels…. We see pictures on here of people meeting with several guys/ couples.

Don’t the hotel staff ever get suspicious of what’s going on, or outright stop the fun due to noise? Always wondered. X

Yes, this absolutely would be a problem at the majority of hotels. I’m sure there are some hotels that will turn a blind eye to multiple people going to the same room but that’s rare.

I’ve had a few meets at hotels with multiple people and we all booked our own rooms and then met up in one of them that was the most out of the way. If there’s a room that is in the middle of 2 other rooms we’re in, or an end room with one of our rooms next to it then they’re best as there aren’t any neighbours to complain about the noise.

I’ve found that as long as everyone has paid for a room and as long as no other residents complain, then the hotel staff will leave us alone. A couple of times i’ve spoken to the staff afterwards who have said they knew exactly what was going on but as we weren’t causing any problems it was fine.

Anyone who says they have booked a hotel room and are inviting loads of people to meet them there are either at a dodgy hotel that is ok with random, non paying guests walking around their hotel, has some connection of some kind at a hotel that will let them do it or is talking b.s.

Had a great meet in a hotel room on Saturday with 11 people. We booked a suite which was soundproof. It was at the end of the corridor with only an electrical cupboard beside us. The hotel was large with a great car park and big reception/bar area as you walked in the main door. An added bonus was that there was a large function on at the hotel on Saturday so people could arrive and go unnoticed. You really need to do a bit of research in advance as nobody wants to cause staff to become suspicious.

Hotel staff really have seen and heard it all before, so as long as you are discreet and do not inconvenience other guests then you should be fine.

Hotel staff won't recognise everybody in the hotel as they may not have been on duty when they checked in. So they're not going to say something to people they don't recognise. We met a couple we already knew in the car park and just walked to the lift.

My one meet at a hotel meant I had to walk through reception and the bar to get to the stairs no one took any notice until I walked back out a bit bedraggled and my hair and makeup a mess I did get some disgusted looks!

As someone who used to work in a hotel.

When people think they're being discreet, you're not.
