I guess it’s a sensitive topic, but how do you deal with body confidence issues?

I’m relatively relaxed with my body, but I do have major hang ups on a few bits - skin colouring in certain places (horribly referred to as ‘staining’ but im as clean as a whistle!) etc…

I know I’ll never be everyone’s cup of tea, but some comments have really knocked me since being here which felt harsh.

I guess it’s just part of life?

It is part of life but that doesn't make it right. I don't know why people feel the need to comment negatively on a person's body.

I can’t see anything of what you have mentioned so dunno why some would say anything 🤷🏻‍♀️

I do struggle with body confidence and had some cbt around it. Helped a fair bit. Your feelings are valid. But I hope you know that most people in this world won’t be bothered by your body or body type.

Some people make it their mission to go around pointing out ‘flaws’ in other people on here…usually while hiding behind a silhouette or an other total anonymity.

I’ve been called all sorts on here. Meh. I get meets when I want them.

Don’t put too much credence on what idiots on the internet say.

Nothing wrong with your body from what I can see. I know it is easier said than done but don't let moronic comments from strangers get to you, you often find with people who are negative or nasty do it because they are miserable themselves and they like to try and bring others down.

Body shaming is horrible in fact I'd say its up there with racism bigotry and any other form of hatered . Every body is different and all body shapes are beautiful its such a shame that intolerance of each is becoming a big issue in society these days

Unfortunately I know all to well some of what it is your going through. I struggle badly with the image of my body. Infact part of the reason I joined fab was in the hope of finding that maybe I'm not as bad as I am. Unfortunately that's yet to be proven but your definitely not alone like.

The Heart of Hollownest, Dudleyish.

Myself and Mrs CD are both sides of the coin.

I have no body issues at all, I'm happy with myself and any changes I would do for just for myself.

Mrs CD while much better than she used to be still struggles with body issues being a large woman in a society and climate that calls them unattractive.

I’ve had to learn to fall in love with myself as I’ve gotten older because I was a real skinny teen and then one day just became really broad taller hairy etc and just really felt disgusted by myself. I started posting on Reddit got a lot of positive comments and that really helped me feel like I wasn’t a monster and then confidence slowly came back

If someone wants to speak negative about your looks and try dampen your day weather there super model or not there immediately an ugly person to me

Now I get my tit's out and if you don't like it look away because I'll jiggle these bad boys right at you

Okay, general health point as I've been caught out by this (Has naught to do with the OP). If you notice changes to your skin get it checked out. It could be naughty, it could be something as simple as a fungal infection, but there are other possibilities.

Similarly if you're with someone and notice a lump, bump or bad mole when playing with someone. Point it out you could save their life

Now, that said, people giving someone flack over how they look is bang out of order. We're grownups be polite.

Fab isn't always the best place for your mental health and body confidence particularly if you're a single bloke.

The constant rejection, unread messages, unanswered messages, concerns about your performance, size, looks, waistline can be hell.

If you find it's getting to you, there is no shame in taking a break and hanging out in the real world for a while.

I have to say, OP are used to be very conscious but I think it’s a age thing for me anyway that I’ve got to appoint in my life where I don’t really care what people think.

I just do things for myself and that’s it. We are never gonna be everybody’s cup of tea and us humans just come in all different shapes and sizes.

As a larger woman, I used to be full of self doubt and conscious of my body and all of the lumps and bumps. I can remember being amazed the first time I went to a club that men actually found me attractive and wanted to have sex with me. That confidence has grown over the years, and although I will always see the bits I don’t like in photos, I am less bothered by it now.

I think the vast majority of us have body confidence issues of one kind or another. You've got to be pretty conceited to think you have no faults.

That said, we are also usually our own worst critics and the stuff we worry about is not even noticed by others, thankfully!

I guess what I'm saying is, ignore anyone who finds a reason to criticize your body and focus on the people who will like you for you.

I would try not to worry about it. Everyone has loads of things that they aren’t entirely happy with about their body but I bet 99% of the time when you meet someone they’re not thinking the same thing you are they’re just excited to be there with you.!

Oh i am not happy with my body at all. Never have been. But I figured out that it's not me that has to like it. It isn't the right way to think but it helps a bit!

To be honest, it took me a good long time to be confident in my own body. It was so bad that I wont even look at myself naked.. but being in this lifestyle has helped me overcome that as my confidence grew bit by bit

Somewhere Over The Rainbow

I think lots of people feel like this. I have loads of birthmarks and freckles I wish I didn't have. Spot outbreaks are enough to knock my confidence. I'm a very insecure person, refuse to believe compliments, even more so being on fab where there's so many people we can compare ourselves to. We can be our own worst enemy, but anyone who is criticising another for stuff that's not fixable isn't worth your time, effort or having you question yourself

This is perfect advice. It’s easy to say Don’t worry about it but we are generally our own worst critics. We all have our flaws and lumps and bumps we aren’t happy with but that is what makes us human and individuals and genuine people aren’t shallow like that I’ve always found.

Basically for me . I was at school . ‘ the seven stone weakling ‘ . Even though did lot of sports. Now still not weight as per height . Nothing I can do about . Yes very lucky I do not put weight on . Say like most. So body size and cock size cannot do really anything about . So just be myself ?

This exactly, a lot of the time these bored idiots take great pleasure from trolling behind a screen and let’s be honest they’d probably never say it in real life! Plus unfortunately insulting others somehow makes them feel more oblivious about their own flaws

I went topless on the beach last week and felt totally and utterly fine with it actually felt like a weight was lifted off my shoulders. But lye in the bath god no or those full length mirrors in hotels fuck that just don't want to see myself
