I think your chances of a meet diminish, the older you are and both here and somewhat in life too, you become 'invisible'.

Here it's not helped by many leaving their age range preference to the default, when, in reality, they won't meet someone past say 50. That just means you are often wasting your time with contact, as you've no chance from the get-go.

The perception of what being 60+ is like, to someone in say their 40s, is flawed (you seem very old), but unfortunately you need to get to 60+ to know that's not the case

I'm sure I'd get way more interest if I'd lied about my age (I can easily pass for 50), but personally I'm just not comfortable with that.

My Mrs who doesn’t really frequent this site, but in clubs, doesn’t really care the age of a male, as long as they (fairly) look after themselves & are not arrogant or up theirselves, if she likes them, she’ll tell me she wouldn’t mind playing with them, however she does seem to have a lower limit which is around 25

In a club it’s that first impression that matters, where the age is ignored. The fab filters however cut off at the numbers. Some confuse age with physical attraction

Exactly this. My husband has absolutely no problems in clubs, and personally I'm not interested in knowing anyone's age in a club. Mutual attraction is all that counts.
