Fishing from a small pool

It occurs to me that despite the high number of members on fab. When you take out the fakes, the guys pretending to be couples, the duplicate members (one single guy on here has 8 couples profiles) we are then fishing in a small pool. Allow for personal preference and distance and whether someone will travel or accommodate. Then take out the issues with when they are available to meet,( every 3rd Wednesday after 11pm)

It's amazing any of us meet at all.

Thoughts?

I've never engaged with a fake profile or a timewaster or men running a couples profile or any of the above.

I don't fish anyway. I'm more of a sniper so I take time selecting my targets and rarely miss.

We get plenty of timewasters and fakes, but they rarely get more than one or two messages in.

It really depends how much effort you put in. When I was meeting I was finishing work, grabbing a shower and bite to eat, then heading out in any direction. As you say, there's only a certain number of people you might like or get along with locally (and only a certain number that play on their own doorstep), so meeting further afield is pretty common.

It depends where you’re located. If you’re in a small town then yes I can imagine their being issues with hardly any people.

But if you’re in a city than nah there’s tons of people

We don’t use this site for ‘meets’ per se, more for advertising when we’re going to a club or for keeping in touch with people we’ve met at clubs. I think if you’re using this site for meets, 80% of the time you’ll be disappointed
