so more and more of my messages are from men who automactically think you WILL meet them .... they seem to have no concept of well lets see if we like each other psysical attraction sexual attraction getting on at a personal level being onr the same page sexuaslly ... its almost like you WILL meet me you have no say.. as said my blocking has gone thur the roof

had a guy say shame i got a beard otherwise id be meeting you and you think eh ??? then you look at thier profile and thing having a beard is the least of your problems yet they still 100% belive you would have met them ...same with the shame im so far away erm well again you being so far away is the least of your problems as id never meet you ..ever??? ...

now i only meet guys via fab so it could be that this is across the board but its defo getting worse its a very entilted view that leads me to blocking 2 or 3 times more guys than before.... do some guys realize they are even doing it ,,,is its a socializing thing oh well im just gas baggin now maybe i just need to get it of my chest

We take a differant approach to meeting. We used to spend a studpid amont of time, reading through cold call messages. We have lives and work. Every time we'd log on we'd get, meet now? Come to mine tomorrow ect ect.

So we now have profile status saying, 'only message us if we have a meet up, or your be blocked'.

It has curbed, and greatly reduced the unwanted flow of demands and offers to meet. We do give the bennifit of the daubt, ignoring the first unwanted, but after a few, (unreplied by us) messages we block. - get the hint.

We are an active, playing couple, who do seek out single men. But take what's on offer. Eg, if we're out and looking, reply to our meet/ status. By bombarding us, offering and asking when will not get you in my knickers. It will only earn you a block.

I often post a status looking for guys but the amount of men who reply even when you’re said it’s for now come out with “If only I were closer….. I can’t tonight but are you free next week at 9am…….or the ones that tell you they can’t tonight yet stay on fab for hours when they could have actually physically met me” infuriating!!

Not a woman (obvs!) so i'm not trying to hijack the thread. I get this a good amount too, and it does seem to be happening more frequently recently. There seems to an assumption that because you have a profile here and are online that you're sitting around, desperately hoping that someone, anyone will send you a message wanting to meet immediately. It's usually along the lines of 'your hot wanna meet' or similar. And if you dare to point out that proximity doesn't automatically equal compatibility then you're the problem even though they haven't done the basics like reading a profile.

Sorry for the rant, it has been therapeutic to get it off my chest though so thank you lol

I mean maybe you were on looking for a meet, just not with them? Guessing that might not have occurred to them. But even if you weren't looking for a meet, doesn't mean you shouldn't be online Unfortunately, i'm not able to meet for a while (reasons) but i log on fairly often through the day, because there are people i genuinely just chat with on here and also just to read the forums

Having a mental attraction is just as important to me as physically attraction. I have talked to beautiful women but the personally has been a total furn off

I never actually think a meet is going to happen until I actually meet them...women and couples are inundated with messages and whilst I may be chatting and things seeming to be progressing to a meet, its always their call as to when, and even then I have had meets cancelled as Im travelling to meet them. What I do find is, once I do actually meet someone, it does result in multiple meets with the same profile which is hopefully a good sign...

We are so glad that we are not the only ones who feel like this.

This alone takes the shine off swinging for us. Total pain in the arse to find genuine people it's off putting.

The lack of reading profiles is a massive turn off and genuinely get met with a sarky response followed by the block button.

Our block list has grown 200% in the past 6months.
