Nice

Rather than hijack another thread I thought I'd start a separate one.

There was a comment that the guy came over as too nice in his profile (possible reason for a lack of meets amongst others) this got me thinking what is too nice?

If you think that you 'nice' how do you change if your character is inheritantly nice! What is the preferred characteristics of a desirable male, I've heard dangerous - but what's that? I do dangerous sports/activities but that doesn't make me dangerous, is it how you treat people? Rude/contempt/abusive/indifferent - genuinely confused as to what this magic character that gets women all weak at the knees is because it doesn't appear to be nice.

From my perspective of observing mates and there success or lack of it seems confident and indifferent seems to win rarely confident and nice.

So as the old saying goes nice guys finish last - in more ways than one.

Thoughts?

Apologies that ended up being a bit of a rant, it wasn't meant to be just posing a genuine question as to what is the desired character and how do you define it? Saying dangerous without defining what it is isn't helpful

I haven't seen the thread you're referring to.

What I will say is that what men think of as a 'nice' guy is different to what women think. Some men think that 'nice ' deserves rewards. Just be nice because you are.

There are some women who are attracted to dangerous men by that I mean the ones that keep women guessing the ' treat em mean to keep em keen' type, Lord knows why but maybe they feel they don't deserve better. These men gravitate towards women who tolerate their behaviour because anyone with any sense of self worth stays well clear of them.

Why anyone would want to change their character to be less nice I really don't know.
