Negative reaction to sharing a photo

Eve knows that some of our friends have seen some sexy photos of her and has posed for one or two for specific friends over the years so its all consensual ...

I was away at a gig for a weekend with a long time close friend and at some stage over the weekend we were having a nice chat around wives and our middle aged sex lives ..

and I brought up gently that we take lots of photos and do share sometimes, and would he like to see a nice photo in confidence since he said such complimentary things about Eve....

He got almost offended and was quite put out that i would even suggest it...

For anyone who enjoys similar, would that reaction be normal? We never had a reaction like that before

I would say his reaction to you offering to show you pictures of your wife was perfectly normal. Not everyone is into that kind of thing and that should be respected.

I'm honestly surprised you've never had that reaction before.

It's not normal to offer to show your close friend a sexual photo of your wife. The man is married and I assume he doesn't swing, so why on earth would he want to see photos of your wife's tits or genitals?? It's actually quite arrogant of you to think he would like it. What's he supposed to say to his wife?? Were you expecting a photo of her in return?? (He could be thinking that).

If you value your friendship with him you should apologise to him, he is probably mortified at the suggestion. Don't try to inflict your swinging lifestyle onto your non swinging friends.

It's one thing to tell someone how you've broadened your horizons quite another to show someone intimate photos of your wife!

I wouldn't be happy with a long term friend showing me intimate pics of their other half.

I would question their motive for doing so but I would also want to know if their wife knew they were doing so?

Then again it would never happen because I've never had a conversation with a friend or work colleague about my sex life or theirs.
