Why is private gallery not private?

Just noticed that people who are not friends are Fabing photos in my friends only gallery, how can this happen?

Have you checked that you have ticked private as you upload not after?

I also think there is a small window of time where they may show in updates but I'm not sure

There are a number of recent uploads showing in the new pics and videos section from profiles that have no public pics or videos at all. In fact a few of them don't have friends only pics or videos either.

I had to turn my location off as a guy was demanding to meet me while I was at work. He was quite persistent
