Default Age Range - thoughts?

I'm fast coming to the conclusion that those younger than me (I'm 64) who have not changed the age range they are seeking, i.e. from the default (18-99), are very unlikely to reply or be interested.

Obviously if the profile specifically mentions they'd like to meet someone older, then that's different.

I just wondered if my conclusions match what others here think!
