What is the point of chatting for two days, then sending a friend request and them agreeing to meet next week if they then block you?

Interests change, they find more information, that makes someone more or less mutually compatible: their home/life circumstances change, including romantic life, etc.

Virgin chat, progressing through learning someone and their tastes, can also include someone learning about themselves, including what they really need and want.

Making realistic expectations is up to each of us, so we stay grounded etc. Do things your way, not dictated to by others

Being a little pessimistic here maybe, but it's probably the male of a cpl (if indeed it is actually a cpl) that's been messaging. She probably has no clue. 🤷

Chatting for days?

Shit, I'm lucky if I get an hour at best until you can literally spot the moment they cum and block you...

People are allowed to change their minds, OP. As others have said, the more you chat with someone and get to know them and their preferences, sometimes red flags can come out. Ones that you couldn't see in the initial chat. Or it could be even something as simple as you're supporting the "wrong" football club or wearing wrong colour/style underwear in your picture. Trying to figure out the reason is going to make your head hurt, so just block them back and move on. It's part of life on Fab, unfortunately, and doesn't happen just to men.

They get cold feet.

You say something that changes there mind.

They meet someone else and prefer they're company.

They have a medical issue and don't want to play anymore.

It always baffles me when people say the scenario you describe is time wasting, consent can be revoked at anytime. It may be give you big emotions to deal with and that's ok, but people can change they're mine for any reason.

Given you know with a week in advance they didn't really waste your time, you have time to rearrange.

Blocking with no communication is shitty but, people be weird

"What is the point of chatting for two days, then sending a friend request and them agreeing to meet next week if they then block you?"

Is it because it's a man pretending to be a woman or a couple and they get a kick out of it?

No. It was a verified couple.

It happens. Move on. Fewer social niceties on line. Just because someone is chatting does not mean they are going to meet.

I've blocked after chatting before, because you agree how far you are comfortable going and orange to meet, the the other party suddenly starts pushing for more and more beyond what you originally agreed.... Instant block

1. It's a guy who likes to catfish

2. You said something they didn't like

3. They didn't like your pics

Of these, I would put 70% on 1
