Depends really on good the chemistry is. If it’s buzzing via message’s and alike then distance be no problem to get that real vibe.

Calderdale innit

For a first meet, I wouldn't go too far, it's a social only anyway.

When I was single years ago, I went to Leicester and Nottingham to meet. They were people I had met them before though and I knew they weren't gonna stand me up etc.

Have a great time op.

About 30/40 miles, give or take. If they are located in an interesting city, I'd travel even more distance, enjoy the city a bit as well.

I've travelled about 40-50 miles for a spur of the moment meet. We had only been chatting for an hour or so but had great chemistry with her so I figured why not?

Was the best weekend of fun I've ever had.

Not prepared to travel at all as I don't drive. And I am not interested to meet anyone who has to drive over an hour to get to me. I prefer regular meets to one-offs.

For first meets I have a limit of a half an hour drive not having time wasted by no shows liars or last minute cancellations

If we’ve met someone and we know there’s a connection then we’ll travel across the country and have.

We’ve driven 4 hours and made a weekend of it.

For the right person, a long way and stay in a hotel if needs be. But it has to feel right. I've just refused to meet a couple who wanted to meet in a pub about an hours drive away as they wouldn't reveal anything about themselves.

Around 40 miles each way, problem is there are too many time wasters on here to justify and risk travelling long distances.

Birmingham

I’ve driven 100+ miles before now for meets, but as others have said, only once a definite rapport had been built up and I knew it wasn’t going to be a time waster. For more spontaneous/last minute meets I tend to stay local, but living in a big city (B’ham) helps here as there’s plenty of people!

I’ve done Nottingham to London, Wales & Cheshire when having built a connection things were great making a weekend event of the meet. But I have been ghosted & let down on meets 2 miles away & one of fifty miles that was a genuine non show.
