When is an bi experience bi ?

So I see posts about when was first bi experience. But my question is what makes a bi experience ? I’m bisexual I like both women and men but I would classify my first experience with a man as a gay experience and only a bi experience when I was with a couple 🤷‍♂️ What’s your thoughts ?

If you only meet men it was a gay experience if you also meet women it was a bi experience.
