Anyone been yet? It's still a fairly new club but I'd love to hear your thoughts if you've already paid it visit. Same goes for the Empire Adult Cinema in Huddersfield.

When I lived in Leeds I went to the empire a few times.. strippers on a monday and thursday i think..

is a filthy old cinema showing porn, couples go very occasionally, I met a few there but few and far between.

most of the time full of pervy old men and dont sit in the back row.....

been done up a bit and a sex shop added.

Haha, I had a feeling it would be a dirty old man den! Seen a few reviews for A&G's on other sites however, and that's sounding pretty positive, just wondered if anyone on here has been.

It was the Tatler at Newcastle haymarket. Also an old cinema, looked filthy from the outside and I could imagine it being equally if not more filty on the inside

Loll, it was originally a cinema, but after the demise of cinemas in general it became one of 'those' before it was eventually demolished

we went to A&Gs last night for the 1st time and will def be goin back its a great place just needs people to support it,read our review on the clubs section xx

A and Gs is a nice club with a nice relaxed atmosphere

Its taking time ta build up a customer base but is coming along nicely

Clean and tidy and very friendly staff

Worth a visit we think xx

Thanks for the feedback guys, I'll definitely be paying A&G's a visit sometime... it's a first for me so I might need someone to hold my hand, or should I be more bothered about holding something else?!!

No sure about the Empire Cinema, I'll give it a go, you only live once!

Certainly worth a visit.

yes we went to have a look around and join, got followed around by dirty old men as old as mi dad...yuk...and the smell...yuk...

lets just say the ladies toilets looked like needed condeming...lol...

we not been back since...

we would like to try A&G but we like our jaccuzzis and sauna based clubs but unfortunatly it has none...

We went a few weeks back to A & G and to be honest we will not be rushing back.

Its a pub with a couple of rooms upstairs, not very well set out and not very well thought out as when someone comes through the door anyone outside can see right into the main room and most of the bar as well. not great if your stood in your vest & pants. lol

Been to a lot better clubs & a few a lot worse as well.

As some of you know me and kev highly recommended this place since we first went not long after it first opened. The place is clean, tidy with some nice personal touches and we thought once word gets around it would be a great little club, especially with there future plans for a hot tub ect.

We even promoted the club for them via our pub website, and alot of people who visit our pub we recommend the club too them. We did our social weekend using A&G'S for the friday night fun and planned to do every other social a full weekend do.

All that said slowly some our friends started to go and lets just say reports where not as good as our own experience there, people been ignored by bar staff and owners, far too many single guys on saturday nights when it should only be selected singles, Staff and owners sat on bandits most of the night etc...

Then out of the blue we received a mail via fabs from the owners very blunt and to the point,

'Remove our club from your website'

No explanations, nothing. When we did try to find out what was wrong and if we where still welcome at the club but we where ignored, mails, texts and phone calls all avoided.

It turns out they where not impressed because people would come to our pub for first meets, when A&G'S think they should be using there club. The fact alot of people come to our pub and then go on to A&G'S seems to have escaped them.

So no we wouldn't recommend this club to anyone anymore.

Now empire cinema club is another story...if you like seedy, which on occasion we do then you will see us in there usually in the front row of the main cinema

We went to a and g's recently and found it to be very quiet. It was a saturday night and to be honest there were more single guys than couples. The venue was also a little cold for our liking but it was snowing outside and -5 degrees so we guess that is understandable.

That said we would definitely give it another go to see if its better in the warmer weather.

That's a shame, as I enjoyed my first club experience at the A&Gs. It would be even better if they have a hot tub for sure!

A&G’s is very friendly although a little smaller than La Chambre in Sheffield. We like it though as it’s friendly and nice and new and very clean. Well worth going to if your in the area.

We are new swingers and we have yet to go to AnG's , we keep thinking we shall try it out , but then we hear from others that it is so quiet , that we end up going out on a "normal" night clubbing. Empire Cinema we have tried! It was a fun experience , i think a lot of women will be put off by the seedy old man element , they have private cpl lounge which we made use of. However - there are no bins in the rooms , and there are yukky suspect tissues all over floor - very offputting. They need to get bloody bins! On the plus side they give out free condoms n lube, the staff are very helpfull , they told me they do get women n cpls in but not that often. It would be Ok going in the mian cinema where all the guys are (wanking ect!) , if you are into the GreedyGirl thing, or watching your girl with a lot of men round her! We went out of curiosty and we were near the place on a night out in Hudds , so thought what the hell. Sex shop had good , cheap vibe which i bought. Women get in free - men is £5 membship , £8 entry. There is a lot of TVs and admirers in there , so may be a good to go if thats your thing.

AnGs= Been toying with going here for a while now , we are new and want our first night at a club to be a good-un! It looks a great little club on the site , and it is good that we west yorks people have something local other than Isis in leeds (which we dont fancy from the reviews). To be honest we are a bit put off by the thought of spending quite a bit of money on the memberships ect ,taxis, drinks ect and we been the only couple there! I have heard of a few cpls where this has happened. We dont get the opportunity to go out that often together , so we dont want to "waste" a night out. Sorry if that sounds a bit harsh. If we new it was a little busier then we wouldnt be so apprehensive. We would love to try Partners or LaChambre , but they are both quite far away and getting home would be a problem as we dont drive. I have read the reviews for AnG on here , one lady said they should maybe do a couples only night , or a party night , maybe even offer free membership for one night and watch the place get rammed! I do agree with what some have said that the management need to be a bit more pro-active. I have sent emails through there website and the facebook page asking if they could clarify the membership n entry costs for first visit - I never got a reply , and it seems a bit rude and unprofessional to me. If i was running such a buisness i would make i sure i made an effort to reply to any "potentials".

Ive been told by a cpl who know the scene that swinging is seasonal and always picks up spring/summer. We hope so , if and when we hear that ANGs has picked up a bit - or if theres any special party nights or offers in the meantime to temp us - we shall be along!

I do hope it takes off for them though , as West Yorks needs a good , clean modern club such as this.

One more thing ( i wonder if the AnGs manangement shall read this) - So many peeps have said they would be more eager to visit the place if they did a cpl only night. I agree, i know a lot of cpls prefer this, and those who like to play with singles can go the other nights? Everyone happy then ? But what do i know! Just a suggestion.

So yes i did waffle on a bit about AnGs there. I really DO hope that the management try some new ideas or incentives and the place gets going a bit. Its literally on my doorstep , but when i think of the costs for 2 of us in there - and a 50/50 chance of it been dead, it just puts us off.

As it is we are going to have our first swinging foray at a private party soon. After that we may not be as aprehensive about joining AnGs XXX

I was out on "normal" non swing nights out all this weekend, but when i came back i saw facebook messages from AnGs , promoting the Easter party and free entry for single girls n first drink free.

It is good to see they are trying some incentives to get people in the door. I am defintley going to try this place out at some point, maybe as a single lady. Sorry AnGs but i dont want to chance £50 (or is it £25 - they will never answer mail to tell me?) for 2 of us if its not for us.

People who have said theres too many single men in there - are they respectful single men , or letchy single men? Please do tell as i dont fancy playing with an audience of men

. I do agree a couple only night may attract more peeps to the place.

I used to be in pub trade myself , i can see why they might let single n cpls fri n sat - sell more drinks. But if you can get a good set of regulars (cpls), thats who keeps you going when times are hard. I never understood buinesses who dont look out for the regs.Just to claryfy, not saying AnG are like that as i havent been i cant comment - In general i mean.

( BTW - i dont know why they cant imbed images into the HTML of there site rather than having to join a fbook group to see pics - as a lot of peeps have friends n maybe kids on fbook they dont want to share there swing life with - it just seems a bit daft to me. But what do i know! Surely it would be more discreet to just be able to look at pics on there site?)

Just read my last post , it may come across as a bit over -critical. Not intended, as I am still really looking forward to trying out this local club when free time n finances allow.

Just wanted to put across a few suggestions thats all.

We can all learn from a little constructive critism at times.

AnGs People - If you read this at all , I would deffo lose the Fbook group and keep to a dedicated website and swing sites.

Ive recently had very straight laced friends n even my mother (eek!) , ask what AnG members club on Fbook is! I have had to remove it from my fbook now. Was also getting slightly harrassed by males who had picked me off the AnG fan list on there. Only joined it as i wanted to nosy at pics.

Pics of club cant be faulted though , it looks really good. Clean n modern XXX

I am also looking forward to getting across to the summer Social at the Rose N Crown.

Very friendly people, lovely to speak to , been chatting on here and we got an invite.

It is a shame AnGs wanted removing from there site? Surley it would be more beneficial to AnGs to keep good relations with others in the business?

As swing newbies we are looking forward to trying out both of these local ventures. The only other one is west yorks is the Isis i think? Dont fancy Isis based on reviews.

but most of the clubs offer free entry for single girls...

but we agree its along way to travel and a lot to spend including hotel fees, if we turn up and dont like it...

Interesting to note , after reading more recent reviews on people going to AnGs and the place been empty , i looked on there site , its now free entry for cpls on a fri and sat night ( before 9pm).

Good incentive , its good to see the owners doing something to try fill the place. We shall deffo be checking it out now , nothing to lose with free entry! I hope others will do the same and we can get our local club rocking XXX

We haven't been to a club for ages, after becoming disillusioned with the club scene.

However as our 25th anniversary is coming up we think we'd like to celebrate with friends by going to a club.

We've looked at Partners and A & G's,both seem nice clean clubs according to the reviews.

The only down side seems to be that many who attend would prefer Saturdays to be for couples only and as we'd be going on a Saturday the fact that its a mixed night would put us off.

Perhaps this reflects in the poor attendance we've read about and something that surely needs to be redressed by the owners.

We used to go to La Chambre where Saturday nights are couples only and always very well attended.
