"I think that’s an exceptionally fine line between dominance and abuse. I would guess a connected Couple would know exactly where to draw the line but I do think that it leaves way too much to interpretation and possibly problems but that’s just my opinion." I think that anyone that has an understanding knows that there’s a big difference between the two. Domination is led by the sub, they have the power to stop and veto any action. Mental domination might look like abuse to an outsider though

"Anyone familiar with power play dynamics that are not only physical but psychological/mental stimulation? " This reminds me of a comedy where someone is imitating a police officer and drops character practising .. "your not good cop, you're always bad cop", it's a bit like that but not. You're asking something that isn't easy to explain in type, especially without some kind of reference. In general terms there's a push - pull in how one is able to keep steady while someone is letting go, or maybe ease off and add as someone is allowing you in. On a personal level, I have known some pretty strong minded people seek out power play dynamics and I've not recognised them in say 6 months or a yrs time.. it's not something to take lightly imo.
