I really must suggest you use some lubricant. Can't imagine the friction that must take place to wear one out.

No issues other than it starting to slip out. Get a big head and slim neck if wearing it out. And I’d recommend getting one that has an internal weight

I prefer just a basic silicone one. They stay in better, they are longer and not so heavy

Make sure you’re comfortable and using a good lube.

Don’t use the little decorative ones as they tend to rub while walking and you’ll be very sore very quickly, not to mention the risks of one being lost
