It seems to happen alot more recently but guys make a effort to read profiles and look at pics before copy and pasting a message to someone, it's really lazy, and 0 effort, sorry for a little rant but it's getting annoying haha

I get why it's annoying. But from a male POV, no matter how long you spend finessing a message, most will go unread anyway...

Copy and paste messages are the scourge of this place, unfortunately. However they bear little relevance to the outcome. Perfectly written, handcrafted messages fare no better.

If the profile attracts me I'll respond, if it doesn't I won't

The contents of the message won't sway me if I don't find the profile appealing.

Exactly, then it's an attraction thing at the end. A perfect message with a profile you don't find attractive is still going in the rubbish pile.

It takes me an age to write an introduction message, and I enjoy constructing one that resonates with the bio I've actually just read.

But as others have posted it can feel like a bit of a lucky dip at times.

There are a few positives to take though.

The first one being an improvement of my letter writing skills (thanks) and the other being just how bloody exciting it is when the floodgate of one message hits my inbox.😂🔥😂

I'm not complaining at all, I love it❣️

Don't have an issue with a copy and paste message, so long as it has a bit of detail about it. Just copy and paste one sentence messages annoy me more, because that's when you feel they are just casting a net out and hoping.

A thought out paragraph or two explaining yourself, what you are into and what you've done before - that's totally fine, you don't need to re-write that every time.

But they should tailor it a little to the person/couple they are messaging - esp if the couple have specific no-no's, just to show you have read it.

For example, if someone messages us with explicit talk, unsolicited dick pics, or talking about solo meets with Mrs being a bull or alpha etc - you ain't getting anywhere with us if your copy/paste blurb starts going into those areas.

We have had one man over the months send us the same (lengthy) cut and paste 6 times thus far. Evert few months, up it pops.

Must be operating on the law of averages; send something out enough one in a hundred may respond.

I wonder if someone has invented a bot to do it???

Every Friday I get messages from women and couples, wanting to organise a sexy massage,asking me loads of questions. I respectfully and thoroughly answer all of their questions about where I studied, what my experience is, what equipment I have and so on. Half of them don't even open the reply. The other half read the message and never get back in touch. Not even "thank you but you are not for us". Totally understand why guys copy and paste.

Only if they're read and not just Bulk Deleted with the tons of other messages a Woman gets on here (Always with Effort and Profile Related comments - unless there's no real profile info).. and If I send someone a Message, I try not to again as I don't want to be accused of Spamming

Never done copy and paste always read the profile and try not to sound like every one else lol still struggle to get a reply haha also only message once can clearly see others pester, my messages may just get unnoticed but not going to pest incase they have read it loll

I don't always realise it's a cut and paste message the first time I receive it but then when it's sent 3 or 4 times, sometimes only a day or two apart you get to realise that the conversations I've been having are a complete waste of time and obviously instantly forgettable.

I personally don't mind them. I'm actually surprised more men don't do it considering they have to send so many messages before even getting a reply if at all.

In the last 3 days I’ve sent 5 messages to couples specifically written for things mentioned in the profile and a bit about me. And a face and clothed body picture.

2 were read and not replied to. The others have not been read.

I still won’t copy/paste messages but I can see why some do it

If it's a good message I'd prefer to receive that than the very personal and freshly written.... 'hi', 'your sexy', 'now?!' messages we get daily

But it's always going to be better to write at least a couple of things which relate to our profile

I agree. When I was but a mere puppy on this site I dallied in copy and pasting and every now and then it did lead to more. It all depends on the quality of the source material you're replicating of course, and I always took time to tailor it to the lucky recipient's profile.

These days I only send handwritten letters to those forward-think8ng enough to include their full address in their profile, like I do.

I've got no problem with a copy-paste message knowing that odds are stacked against single guys. But a smart copy-paste message shouldn't pretend to be otherwise and should be from someone who has at least checked your profile and preferences before sending.

A perfect copy paste message should be something like "hey, I saw your profile and liked what I saw. I hope you like mine and would love to hear from you if you're interested. If not, happy fabbing"

Simple, polite, to the point with the invitation to reply or disregard without a rude follow up.

I am constantly getting hate in the inbox for not replying or deleting messages which don't match my clearly stated preferences about location, non smokers, face pics etc. A few times a day I get an abusive follow up and my block list is already long

Honestly these guys drag the rest of you down and it's a real shame.
