How do you go about going to meets etc

I've never been to clubs or meets before it's something I want to try but don't know how I go about going to these events, I'm quite low on confidence and don't know where to start

So when I have gone to clubs I have a couple of rules

Dress nice

Be shower fresh

Smell even nicer

Have no expectations of anything happening then never dissapointed if nothing happens

Definitely try a club first.

Build your confidence, just treat it like a social event, go with no expectations, dont be pushy, be yourself see what happens.

Go to a club, but treat it as going to any other bar, go with no intention to play, just try to be sociable. Also try to enjoy it.
