Can’t wait ! Won’t be up at 02:30 but will record and still get up earlier than normal to watch the recording.

So many exciting sub-plots and in my 26 years of watching F1 can’t recall such a close call between the top 4 teams - and with new regs coming next year that may change again !!!

You can say what you like about Liberty Media, I think they sometimes go too far - the fake Miami marina anyone ? - but they have done well to help make it better for the fan.

Yeah apart from the fact actual fans can’t get paddock tickets anymore as they have all been given to social media influencers, who don’t know the first thing about F1 and have no interest in it apart from getting in the way and telling fans off for being in the way of a selfi shot!

Don’t necessarily disagree, but it’s not just F1 that is suffering from a new influx of people who wouldn’t have been there perhaps 10 years ago. Look at the Premier League - it’s all about corporate tickets & sponsorship and international fans visiting.

It’s all about the money & profits now.

Yeah that’s true, it’s all about the money these days, or more to the point extracting as much money as possible from the fans, “squeeze em till the pips squeak”

Remember when you could watch sport on the TV for free?? Ahhh the good ol’ days

Buzzing for it. Will be up early for practice on Friday and Saturday AM. Qualy at 5am on Saturday - BOOM. Great start to the weekend.

McLaren the fastest car, despite Lando playing it down. They are certainly the team to beat. But can Lando handle the pressure, that’s the question. Hopefully he can.

Max will drag the Red Bull around, wiping out and intimidating as many people as possible.

Ferrari will be interesting. Let’s see how Hamilton settles in.

Kimi is FAST. Can’t wait to see him in the Mercedes.

Great to see the point for fastest race lap taken away, was such a stupid idea so glad that’s gone.

Bring it on.

I quit going to F1 about 12 yrs ago and must be 7 yrs since I last watched it.

Just can't seem to enjoy it these days

It was commercial when I watched but I believe it's gone mental now.

I didn't just watch when it was on i used to work at Silverstone as a pitlane specialist marshal.

Too many rule changes for me now I don't think I'll ever get back watching like I used to do.

That's only true for the casual observer.

True fans enjoy far more than just the race.

Motorsport in general could be deemed boring look at Le Mans , not the most gripping but it can be and a trip for the weekend can be epic without even watching any racing !!

Really looking forward to this season!

Been geeking out on all the updates from testing and excited to see how the rookies get on this year…

Funny how my allegiances have changed over time….i used to see Alonso as the enemy when he was paired with Lewis back in the day but now he’s the main driver I’m rooting for !

Il be up and watching Live .

Weather is saying that it may be a wet race, so that should spice things up.

It's an orange front row but will see if Norris has whatsit takes. He bottled so many opportunities last year, so will see if hes more ruthless this year or not.

Hoping the Merc is a better car this year and it be interesting to see what Lewis does.

Bring it on 👊🏽👊🏽👊🏽

Well it looks like my boy Lewis is unlikely to achieve an upset tomorrow, so I will enjoy the racing up front between Lando, Oscar and Max....

Unfortunately I suspect that Lando and Oscar will be fighting so hard through the first two corners that Max will probably be pulling away in the lead after the third corner.

If it wasn't for the predicted rain I'd expect them to retake the lead easily enough. But if it does rain, then the smart money would probably be on Max Unfortunately
