How important are recent verifications

All over England

When deciding whether to contact or respond to a fellow fabber, how important are recent verifications in your decision making? By recent I would say, a verification in the last 3 to 6 months.

This post is for people who do think veris are important. Thanks

We've been doing this for five years and the two biggest factors in no-shows has been distance and lack of verifications. We now no longer meet anyone without a meet verification (that we can track back) within the past twelve months.

For us it’s by far the most important factor when it comes to a meet! If we see a decent amount of good verifications from other well verified accounts the odds are that persons probably half decent

I don’t care for reading veri details. Injustice like seeing the veri count is within 6 months

With couples it’s important for us, seen too many where they’ve broken up or the female half isn’t playing anymore and the male has kept the account going.

It depends, if they have verifications that I can trace back or from people I know then it’s all good.

I take breaks from meeting new people, so when I do start meeting new people often my verifications aren’t recent ones.

We like to make sure verifications are from legitimate people and as long as they're not too long ago (6 months+) it's fine with us. But they have to be from meets, webcam verifications don't count in our opinion.

Here or There abouts

I'm not too bothered by recent verifications just that they have at least a couple to give a good idea of what they are about, if they likely to be a no show ect..

I dong worry how long ago the varie was from. People take a break from this lifstyle for lots of reasons. Children for one. Ill health etc. But then return. Doesnt make them fake does it

I have never really been one for checking verifications. It often seems like a trip advisor review. a reference for good performance!

Certainly is not a deciding factor on meeting or talking to someone.

I think you have to take veri's at face value to be honest imo.

So many people with fake veris

We would always check verifications to ensure that the people have met in person. Cams mean nothing to us. We would also check the profiles of those leaving veris to make sure that they had also received a few reliable looking veris.

They form part of a story.

Female profile just joined 5 minutes ago and immediately verified, suspicious

Couple profile been on a year no verification, not good

But if the other communication is good, I'll give benefit of doubt.

Not half as important as making sure the very is meet in person rather than cam meets, those with cam only meets seem to prefer talking and wanking to actual meets, I think they should be in a seperate catagorythan meets in person.

What’s more important to me, is how the conversation/online chat is flowing. Is this person saying things I like, do they make me smile, is it multiple messages in a day because you’re getting on well?

Veris have their place, but one of my best meets ever, was with a woman who had only joined the site 10 minutes earlier, new to the site, and no veris at all…..

One needs to read any verifications carefully.

As some are so fake it's obvious.

Those with verifications 2/3/4 days in a row stir clear tbh as sleeping with any Lisa/Bill/Daisy LOL.

**End of day for me only**

No real face pic.

No nice bits on show.

No proper verifications.

100% if No WhatsApp chat prior.

You will not be playing-licking-sucking my 12" ish monster lol.

Don't risk it!!!!!

6years fab experience here x

Ps.

This is only impo.

Your all allowed to have your own 100% xx

We’d question if they had veris but not recent (in the past couple of years). Like we’d question if they hadn’t updated their profile with pics or the wording wasn’t updated.

Had a profile that had been on 9 years (pics uploaded) and said in profile they were new - said we were the only ones to mention that

If people can’t be bothered trying to sell themselves on here, then we aren’t going to bother either.

They're extremely useful.

The other week I had someone demand my contact details just so he could be sure I'd show. I don't really want to give out my number, so was able to point to 400 or so meet verifications as evidence that I do turn up

Biggest problem I have just recently discovered with verifications is, when people leave, you lose them.

I was wondering why it had become difficult to get meets and a couple of weeks back looked at my verifications and they have all gone. At some point, their must have been an exodus of people leaving, maybe Covid, and with my partner being very ill past 2 years, I have had not much time for meets, so no new recent verifications or people have not left them.

They're pretty important for me. I do use them as a tool to decide if I'm interested in meeting someone, potentially. If someone only has verifications from 2+ years ago I'd probably ask why. A lot can change in that time.

Everybody has to start somewhere do we have taken a chance on unverified newbies with mixed outcomes...

However, if their most recent ones are from years ago or are all by webcam, experience has taught us that they are less likely to get to the point of actually meeting...which is what we are here for...

They often result in endless toing and froing of dull "How's you?" messages or requests to move to telegram...all well and good if that's your bag but not for us...

I find them useful and do use them as a basis for deciding whether the person is going to be my cup of tea.

As a follow up to my last about losing verification's when people leave, I got round this morning to looking at the map on the computer I made backend of last year plotting all the meets and places that I could remember over the years. Took me about 2 months to do as I kept remembering ones that I had long forgot about.

The total since about 2001 up to just before Xmas came to 112 meets. Not many meets as I worked and did not have much time etc

And how many Verifications have I to show for it, none, as I lost them when people left or they did not leave any. And this included, couples, single females and males.

So basically the system is not that perfect when it comes to checking upon a person as it can let people down and they get sidelined and left on the shelf.

It’s crucial for engaging with me, I haven’t got time to fuck about. Experience has been that a couples profile with a ‘last verified in 2017’ (and only pictures from back then) is a profile maintained by the husband for thrills and the wife is no longer interested and hasn’t had sex with anyone else in years. Don’t waste my time mate, had too many cancelled meets because the husband couldn’t convince the missus to give it a go again.

In fairness we are all getting older and you (and me! 😄) are not the man you were 24 years ago. Do you still consider meet veris that are 25 years old to be relevant?

Recent verifications could mean nothing.

I have no veri since rejoining yet there are guys on here who i met in the past that have offered to verify me.

I asked them not to due to the amount of time that had passed since we actually met.

One i last met in person ten years ago two was over six years ago.

We still chat now and again but my body, my health and some of my interests have changed.

I used to have a beard more hair and different glasses and i am now a lot fatter than i was ,Two of those guys did not recognise me from the face pic i was using when i rejoined even though we had met several times in the past until i sent them a pic what i used to look like.

So any meet veri they wrote would be based on who i was and not who i am now.
