I was a long term member but I cancelled my membership late last year.

I went to the Leeds one. It was grim. Full of men who just hang around in there. Chewing tobacco and spitting tobacco all over the place, lot of people hacking greenies and flushing mucus out of their sinuses in the steam room, and men naked exfoliating their balls in the sauna, or doing full barber shop treatment in the changing rooms.

Not to mention the smell from the blocked drains. Bleurgh. I cancelled. It wasn’t always like that, but there seemed to be a big influx of odd characters around 2022. Must be some kind of government deal.

Used to go, fairly decent but tired version of a premium gym. Not worth the money unless you use the pool and other facilities regularly.

Nothing as bad as the one in Leeds by the sounds of it!

It felt like they stopped putting money into doing it up, so it had the decor of the 2000s and maintenance was quite poor for the money.

I switched to a new budget gym and for what I wanted (just gym equipment) it was better, although gym machinery wasnt as good, treadmills etc, it was new so far less broken down machines
