Skype will be closing down in May for Microsoft to focus on their Teams video calling system.

Many swingers still use Skype for personal chats a cam fun with other fabbers.

Also unlike other apps like Kik Skype works well on a laptop as opposed to a phone.

Whatsapp relies on using your personal phone number which you may not on initial contact wish to reveal. Also contact lists have a ahbit of merging on Whatsapp and it gets very confusing who you are chatting to. Also not very good for video calls.

So what are we going to do? Which messenger system will Fabbers adopt?

I've only ever used Skype once many years ago for a committee meeting.

I had no idea it was still going so I won't miss it.

I don't use any external apps or software for fab related conversations.

I deleted Kik a few years ago because I wasn't using it anymore and I've never had any other chat app apart from WhatsApp which I definitely don't give to anyone on fab.

I haven’t needed Skype for years, as it’s rare you find a woman who will play on cam anymore, so won’t ‘miss’ something I don’t use….

I mostly use Telegram for private chats, and WhatsApp with people I trust with my phone number. Other than that, sorry for those for who Skype is relevant
