As someone who has used that phrase in the past, it probably means more along the lines of "it's not the biggest".

I'm certainly far from huge, but I've yet to have had sex with a girl who's blatantly come out and said "is that it? That's tiny" or "you were ok but if you were bigger..." type of remarks.

I think it's more meaning it's not huge, but also never had anyone ridicule it either.

You are correct, the response “never had a complaint” can be the response to that particular question. Could equally be the response to “are you good in bed” so maybe it would have been better to set the context with that to avoid the issue of “size”. But again, really interested to know if people would ever dare to complain in the first place? If complaining is rare then does that make the response “never had a complaint” meaningless?

It probably is meaningless because you’re right I don’t believe anyone would complain in person I’ve been asked about my cock size and my reply was I’ve never measured it which is true I think some guys just don’t care about their size because they’re happy with it and others make a big deal about size for whatever reason

This is something I occasionally point out to the people who say they've never had any complaints about their blow job skills or cunnilingustical prowess. No-one complains, brag if you constantly get unsolicited compliments from various people, not because someone is too British to tell you you're just average, at best.

I've never complained or been complained to directly.

I've used that phrase in conversation or when commenting on a thread that asks if size is important.

I don't agree that it's self deprecating. I've never considered size to be important and I've never measured my dick so if someone asked me what size it was and I replied that I've never had any complaints, part of that is down to not actually knowing and part of it is telling the other person it's none of their business and I'd prefer if they talked about something important.

If I asked a woman how big her tits were I would expect a similar type of response.

As far as sexual skills I can only grade my own ability on the fact that I've genuinely never had any complaints.

Does that mean I'm highly skilled?

Not at all. It just means I am capable.

I've never felt the need to complain either.

If I'm not enjoying something I will say so but that's not a complaint, just good communication.
