Im at the age of late 30’s turning 40 era and Im interested to hear the thoughts from people on how at this age a man’s appearance can drastically change in short space of time. Im actually lucky so far that I have full head of hair but I notice some of male friends and colleagues have gone bald, shaved their hair, grey beard and hair etc in a short space of time and they look of youth has gone and in some cases they look different from when they got married. Not to mention the fuller face and hint of a belly or dad bod. The question is do women care, does it put them off do they find it sexy? It’s a natural process that cant be avoided and my own day will come. I guess also my point for the post is that Women don’t generally age as quick as men in looks in that they can cover it up with make up and hair dye etc… For a man he can look totally different in the space of 5 years.

I would not worry about it mate! As you’ve correctly stated, “it’s a natural process”.

A key point for those concerned with this posts topic, learn to adapt and roll with the inevitable changes as positively as possible.

I know this will sound like a cliche, but age is just a number. Im am a sports massage therapist and I work with amateur and semi professional athletes. I work with clients in their late 40s and early 50s who have fitter bodies than most 18 yrs olds. Just because you are middle ages that doesn't mean you have to have a "dad bod"

I probably have less aches in my 40’s than I had in my 20’s and 30’s. One because I play less competitive sport, and secondly because I don’t burn the candles at both ends like I did then.

The only thing that is harder is a hangover. But a few zero alcohol beers through the night helps that.

The general consensus I've seen over the years is that women are under more pressure to not show their age.

Bald heads, grey hair etc are deemed sexy by many women when looking at men.

I've been told I could pass for mid 40s and I've got a full head of hair but I've also got a grey beard.

I may not be as fit and healthy as I have done in the past but that's not through lack of effort.

All you can do is be the best version of you.
