OK. I can totally understand that and respect it. So what leads people who are "Not looking for single males" to view my profile? I mean, it's fine. My profile is there to be seen, but what is it exactly that they are looking for?

It could have been an accident sometimes I’ve accidentally clicked on a profile due to my fat fingers 🫣🤣unless of course it’s happened more than once. Of course she could have just been being nosy I sometimes look at couples or womens profiles and we aren’t looking to meet them

I often use the filter to block men, as I'm not looking for new meets.

I would then show as not looking for single men. Some will block me and search for ones they like the look of themselves.

we have messages from single males turned off but we’re looking to meet single males we use the forums and guys who check us out to find single males is far easier for us to do it that way so we don’t get bombarded with silly messages and dick pics

A lot of couples who have no males on their profile & have possibly blocked them so they are not overwhelmed by messages prefer to do their own searches for suitors.

That could be one explanation for looking at your profile

Some people state 'not looking for single males' to avoid the being bombarded with messages,

Maybe they're checking out your profile on a veri mission, or maybe they have changed thier minds and do quite fancy a single male, but would rather pick themselves instead of having to sift through all the tripe in thier inboxes if they were to turn the filters off.

For us it means; We will find you if we’re looking but don’t wish to be inundated with unsolicited messages which often result in abuse when a) deleted b) replied to c) left unread despite not ticking “looking for men”.

We’ll message those we find interesting and a match when we are available and open for a single guy meet.
