I think fab has remained more or less the same with a few changes such as the ability to post videos.

If anything the members have changed and we have grown older therefore our experience of fab is different.

Younger people use fab differently to how we did because their experience of meeting people via the net is different.

We're older so will appeal to fewer people and will therefore have less interaction.

I'm not sure what you mean by time wasters but if it's that people don't turn up when they say they will it does happen to some. If it's that people chat then decide they don't want to meet that seems fair enough to me. If they arrange to meet then stop messaging just before confirming time and place that is time wasting in my book

I know there are those that intend to meet but then change their mind and wonder what they thought they were doing in the first place. Those I forgive.

There are those that think this is a fantasy site. Those waste swinger's time.

There are those that simply don't turn up. That is why I no longer travel to first meets.

I think there are less swingers on the site than there were, far more Picture collectors and people having fantasies.

This is exactly the way we see it. The site has always been simplified for it's wide range of users.

In terms of the people, it's down to how people use it and the etiquette. Time wasters are annoying but you soon with experience can tell whether it's worth investing time and energy!

Craigslist was far easier to get a meet with than Fab.

I just think Fab is a very niche market. I always compare Fab to the naturist beach, 99% men. This is true for the beach but I know not for Fab but it sure seems that way!

I haven’t had much luck on fab. Only been on here a few months but so far struggled to get chatting to people , never mind getting to the point of arranging meets. Will keep trying though as surely I’m good enough for someone out there

People who for whatever reason, aren't serious about meeting up seem to be a large part of the swinging scene generally. Fab is the third swinging site we've been on, and has been the most successful by a long way for us to actually meet people.

My first couple of weeks on fab (2009) I was like a kid in a sweet shop. So many ladies and couples wanting fun. Defo far harder now for guys as there's just so many.

A lot of the couples now are just guys and a lot of the girls are just looking for only f subs or money but still some genuine folk out there

I think we all go through phases of enjoy when you get chatting to decent people to hating it when you have been messed about.

For me it’s about realistic expectations and just basic things like checking verifications, when was the last one etc and avoiding anyone I fear maybe a “cock in a frock” time waster who’s making profiles up for fun.

I also realise that covid changed with an influx of new members and the amount of single guys looking is way way outnumbering the amount of people looking for them, being polite and sounding half interesting on a first message is always going to help as I speak to lots who get the “free now” type and it’s not really a way to approach anybody and expecting a reply.

The site needs to improve the influx of fake profiles, but easier said than done but it’s far from had its day it’s the way we use it that will actually determine what you get out of it.

Just my thoughts and opinions vary but lots of decent people on here it just takes time and patience to find them but it’s well worth it when you do.

There are definitely less swingers on this site. There are lots of profiles that you can clearly see they have no intention of meeting up to swing.

Lots of women are now using fab as a free/cheap way to promote their "only" site.
